Recent Update

12/7:Miami Marlins infielder Derek Dietrich will likely be the starting second baseman for the Marlins with Dee Gordon off to Seattle. Dietrich played all over the field for Miami last season, mainly at third, but will likely slide into the lineup as an everyday starter for the rebuilding Marlins. He has seen his OPS drop in each of the last three seasons for the Marlins, down to .758 last season, but he has also seen his at-bats rise each season and he hit 13 home runs last season. With Gordon just one of a few Marlins to move, look for Dietrich's fantasy value to be minimal, as the Marlins offense may struggle.--Chris Zolli - RotoBaller
