The Miami Dolphins signed cornerback Xavien Howard to a record five-year, $76.5 million contract extension on Thursday, according to sources. It makes him the highest paid corner in NFL history and also includes $46 million guaranteed. Howard has been to one Pro Bowl after being taken in the second round by Miami in 2016. He had 35 tackles, one fumble recovery, seven interceptions and 12 passes defensed in 12 games last year for the Dolphins. He's one of the best cornerbacks in the league and is the heart and soul of Miami's secondary.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
