DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (2/7/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The NBA trade deadline may have come and gone by the time you read this, but at the time of this writing, 3:00 PM EST has not yet struck. That said, there's a greater than a zero-percent chance that some of the following players might not play tonight. They could also see their fortunes change drastically as the result of one of their teammates being evicted. All I can do is go on what I know now, and hope for the latter. Should they fall under the former, well, I'll be stuck with the Harrison Barnes face...

Six-game slate on tap tonight in the association, and as usual, I've perused the mid-to-lower priced players in an attempt to provide some value-based lineup fillers for your DraftKings lineups. I find no value in explaining to you that Paul George is good at playing basketball. And be sure to check all the NBA starting lineups and player statuses and availability prior to opening tip.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Dennis Schroder - PG/SG, vs. MEM ($4,900)

Schroder got the new year off to a slow start, but he's back to the nightly 20-point floor and a level of consistency and upside that's tough to beat at under $5,000.

Kevin Huerter - SG/SF, vs. TOR ($4,900)

I know, the Raptors present a tough matchup, but Red Velvet has been balling out lately. Huerter has dropped double-digit points in 13 of his last 15 appearances while shooting 41-percent from deep and putting up solid numbers in the boards and assists categories. More importantly, he's seeing north of 30 minutes per game over the past month-and-a-half and it's rare to find guys getting that much run in this price range.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Justin Holiday - SG/SF, at OKC ($5,200)

Speaking of balling out, Holiday is averaging 17 points per game in the month of February on the strength of three-straight 15-plus point performances. Not only is he shooting the ball extremely well, but he's pulling down six boards per game while the injuries continue to mount up for this Grizzlies squad ensuring he stays in the rotation regardless of production. Plus, OKC has been surprisingly suspect on the defensive side of the ball over the past month so he finds himself in a good spot to continue his recent play. He isn't one for the risk averse, however.

Johnathan Motley - PF/C, at IND ($3,200)

The potential return of Danilo Gallinari would have a significant impact here, but with Tobias Harris, Mike Scott, and Boban Marjanovic now calling Philadelphia home, the Clippers frontcourt is virtually nonexistent. Motley seems likely to see at least 15 minutes by default.

Head coach Doc Rivers could opt to go small -- as he's done quite a bit -- but you have to figure Montrezl Harrell slides into the starting five, and he can't possibly play all 48 minutes. I won't pretend to have watched countless hours of Motley tape, but from what I've seen, he has the size and athleticism to be a contributor to some extent if on the floor. So, if you're looking for a lottery ticket tonight, he's your man. (Also not for the risk averse).

DraftKings DFS Centers

Domantas Sabonis - PF/C, vs. LAC ($5,900)

Again, I'm no Motley fanboy, but from what I've seen, he's not receiving much consideration to go down as one of the greatest defenders of his generation. Indiana has won three straight, and are beginning to show signs of life on the offensive side of the ball without Victor Oladipo. Sabonis plays a huge role in their continued success sans Oladipo, and he shouldn't have much trouble putting up numbers tonight against a depleted Clippers squad.
