FanPicks Quarterbacks - Week 2 DFS Picks

Jimmy Garoppolo - vs DET ($5,400)

Garoppolo struggled in his first game, but there is a big difference between the Detroit Lions secondary and the Minnesota Vikings in Minnesota. Sam Darnold completed 16 of 21 attempts for 198 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on Monday night. That game was out of hand quickly, or he likely could have continued to find success. The San Francisco 49ers are also -6 point favorites in a game set at 48 points, giving them an implied total of 27 points.

FanPicks Running Backs - Week 2 DFS Picks

James Conner - vs KC ($5,800)

Conner has taken over for Le'Veon Bell, who is expected to miss the game this week, as well. Conner saw 36 touches last week, totaling 192 yards and two touchdowns. He should see another massive role in this game, which will be extremely high scoring. Kansas City gave up plenty of fantasy points to Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler last week, and Conner could find similar success. He'll feature a ton of ownership, and for good reason.

Carlos Hyde - at NO ($4,900)

Hyde struggled in his game last week, but he saw 22 carries in that game. He was the lead running back in Cleveland, and that should be the case again this week. He gets a solid matchup against the New Orleans Saints in a game that should feature a ton of scoring. Hyde has a nose for the end zone, and he's one of Cleveland's greatest threats near the goal line. He's surprisingly cheap, making him a great option in all leagues.

FanPicks Wide Receivers - Week 2 DFS Picks

Odell Beckham Jr. - at DAL ($6,500)

Beckham had one of the hardest matchups on the slate against Jalen Ramsey, but he still recorded 11 receptions for 111 yards on 15 targets. He's a massive part of the Giants offense, and he'll get a significantly easier matchup this week. Beckham is the cheapest of the elite options on the slate. He'll continue to get better as he returns to game form, and OBJ can safely be used in all leagues.

Kenny Golladay - at SF ($4,500)

Golladay's role in the offense is a bit unknown at this point. It looks like he'll continue to play in two receiver sets, and he was a major part of the offense last week. In his first game of the season, Golladay posted a 7/114 line on 12 targets. He's a red zone threat because of his size, and Gollday is a great option that is seemingly flying under the radar.

FanPicks Tight End - Week 2 DFS Pick

Jared Cook - at DEN ($3,300)

Cook was a featured player in the Oakland offense last week, catching nine passes for 180 yards on 12 targets. He gets a matchup against the Denver Broncos, who have struggled at times against tight ends. Cook could see a slight downtick in targets as the season progresses, but he could potentially see double digit targets once again. He's a cheap option with a high floor and even higher ceiling.

FanPicks Defense - Week 2 DFS Pick

Los Angeles Chargers - at BUF ($3,400)

The Buffalo Bills feature the worst offense in the NFL. They scored only three points in the opener, and they will now get a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, who feature arguably the best secondary in the NFL. Josh Allen will draw the start, and he's a bit known for being careless with the football. The Bills own an implied total of only 17.5 points, which is the second lowest on the slate. Los Angeles is a safe play at defense.
