San Diego Padres starter Tyson Ross went 6 2/3 strong innings in a victory Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. His only blemish was a solo home run to Matt Adams in the seventh inning. Along with the long ball, Ross surrendered four singles, walked one and struck out nine on the day. For the 2018 campaign, Ross holds a 3.13 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 9.5 K/9 with four wins and six quality starts. Lasting six-plus innings in eight of nine outings, Ross has become very reliable for the Padres and a trustworthy fantasy starter. His next opportunity will come next Tuesday against the Miami Marlins at home. Ross has been his best at Petco Park where he holds a career 2.85 ERA through 280 2/3 innings.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
