San Diego Padres starter Joey Lucchesi (hip) likely won't return from the disabled list when first eligible. Expected to miss only one start, Lucchesi hasn't progressed to throwing beyond 75 feet and manager Andy Green feels that "doesn't give [him] a lot of optimism" that he'll be ready. Lucchesi has been out since May 15 with a hip strain. The 24-year-old rookie has been a pleasant surprise for the Padres and fantasy owners this season, posting a 3.23 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 9.1 K/9.
