St. Louis Cardinals right-handed starting pitcher Alex Reyes (elbow) reportedly looked strong in an extended spring training outing, tossing three innings for the Cardinals at Port St. Lucie. It was Reyes' first real game action since his Tommy John Surgery and a huge step in his recovery. Assuming things continue to progress well, Reyes should go on a minor league rehab assignment in mid-May and could be back with the Cardinals in June. For now, he's expected to come back as a starter, but the needs of the big league club will be taken into account once Reyes is ready to go. He's oozing with upside and should be picked up immediately by anyone with an open disabled list spot or a bench spot they don't mind using for a month.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
