It's Week 6 – the season is now in full swing and it is time for you to address your teams categorical needs. This week we will recommend a group of three-point shooters who have been getting it done all season long, and deserve to finally be relieved of living in limbo on the waiver wire.
This year, we're tossing out our old convention of separating waiver wire posts into positions, and instead, we're separating them into of league -- standard, shallow, deep, etc. The NBA is trending to positionless basketball, so we at RotoBaller should too.
For standard (10-12 team) league adds, we use a general rule of thumb of an ownership rate of under 50% on Yahoo. All position eligibility based on Yahoo leagues.

Standard League Adds for Week 6
Danny Green, SG/SF – San Antonio Spurs

After starting the season with a hot hand, veteran swingman Danny Green is starting to heat up again as he finally shakes off a nagging hamstring injury. Surely you’ve seen him bouncing all over your waiver wire this season, but he has provided steady value so far, and he is a player you want on your team when he is hot.
Over the last week Green is averaging 14.0 points 5.3 boards and 2.3 dimes per game while nailing 4.0 from behind the arc. Subtracting his hamstring injury, Green hasn’t provided to many headaches for owners this season, and his steady dose of assists, steals, and blocks locks him in as a consistent fantasy contributor. As long as he’s healthy, he will be playing 30 plus minutes per game, and with still no timetable for Kawhi Leonard’s return, Green will get plenty of opportunity for big nights.
C.J. Miles, SG/SF – Toronto Raptors

Here is a guy who’s been doing it all season and deserves some love. C.J. Miles has stepped up over the past few weeks, and has held his own alongside the surging DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry to bring the Raptors back to the top of the Eastern Conference. While his playing time has been hovering around 20 minutes per game, over the past two weeks he is putting up 13.5 points with 3.3 three-pointers.
Norman Powell has missed the last four games, which is part of C.J. Miles’ recent uptick, but the fact is he has been having big nights during recently, and should continue to see his share of playing time once Powell returns. The Raptors have been starting rookie OG Anunoby in the absence of Powell, but Miles is the one putting up fantasy worthy numbers, and he is certainly worth a flier in 12-team leagues.
Wesley Johnson, SG/SF – Los Angeles Clippers

6.8 PPG / 4.1 REB / 0.9 3PM / .451 FG%
Since Danilo Gallinari went down with a hip injury, Wesley Johnson has stepped into the Clippers started lineup and put up solid all-around numbers. Over that span, Johnson is hitting 2.3 three-pointers while averaging 12.3 points per game. While the scoring is nice, his real value lies in his across the board production, as he is also grabbing 5.3 boards, dealing 2.3 assists, blocking 2.3 shots, and coming away with 2.0 steals as well.
It has been quite some time since Wesley Johnson was fantasy relevant, but that doesn’t diminish his current value. With the boost in minutes, he is producing in categories that every fantasy owner needs if they want to win, and with Gallinari expected to miss another 7-10 days, he is worth a short time look, with the potential to push for more minutes throughout the season.
