While there were plenty of movers and shakers on the fantasy scene, the tight end position didn't see as much volatility. Injuries have been the biggest story in the tight end world, but the tight ends remained healthy, at least during this past week.

So here we are, feverishly looking to analyze statistics and projections to justify an addition to our fantasy football teams.

Below are my Week 12 waiver wire adds for tight ends. Following this past week's games, this is a list of tight ends you should consider adding to your roster.

Tight End Waiver Wire Pickups - Week 12

Eric Ebron (TE, DET) - 32% owned (FAAB Bid: 2%)

As much as it pains to me to say anything positive about colossal bust Eric Ebron, he has posted four usable weeks in a row now. Ebron has at least 6.5 fantasy points in each of his last four games. He matched his season high in targets with seven last week. This is probably when he decides to go back into his shell and forget how to catch the ball, but I would be negligent in my duties if I failed to at least mention him as someone you can consider streaming for week 12. I would not advise it, but it's slim pickings out here on the TE waiver wire.

Charles Clay (TE, BUF) - 33% owned (FAAB Bid: 3%)

The best part about recommending Charles Clay is that he actually had a much bigger game than the box score indicates. Clay caught just three of four targets for 27 yards, which, by itself, is unhelpful. However, Clay caught a touchdown that was reversed on a pass interference call and then dropped a wide open touchdown the very next play. He easily should've had about 40 yards and a score. I think it's safe to say Tyrod Taylor has a high level of job security the rest of the season and we know he likes Clay. The TE looks healthy and could be a decent, if unspectacular option down the stretch.

Deeper League Options

None. There just aren't any TEs worth mentioning. So rather than leave this section blank, I'll instead discuss the head fake deep league options from the past week.

Ricky Seals-Jones (TE, ARI) - 0% owned

When he caught his first touchdown last week (yes, first, because there were two of them), I had to announce it to the room as "R. Seals-Jones" because I had no idea what his first name was. The Cardinals' rookie TE came out of nowhere to post the overall TE1 performance for week 12. He had caught exactly zero passes before last week and will probably catch exactly zero passes next week. Do not chase last week's points.

Adam Shaheen (TE, CHI) - 0% owned

The Bears also had a rookie TE catch a touchdown last week. Adam Shaheen was filling in for Dion Sims. Shaheen split time with Daniel Brown. The Bears barely have a passing attack and have a two man, if not three man time share at TE. This is just a blip, nothing more.

Jeremy Sprinkle (TE, WAS) - 0% owned

He's got a incredible name. There are so many possibilities with a last name like Sprinkle. However, Jeremy Sprinkle just happened to be the TE with the pleasure of leaking out on a short play action goal line touchdown pass. He's the fourth string TE and will probably never score again.

Must Hold Tight Ends

The following players are a complete and exhaustive list of all the Tight Ends you absolutely cannot drop. Anyone not listed below can be safely cut.

Initially, I was going to list a couple names that you can drop if you needed to. Upon review of the state of the tight end position, I am amending my approach on the fly. If your TE is not found listed below, that does not mean you should run out and drop him right now. Don't do that. Just understand that if you had to drop him, you should not feel compelled to keep him because of something like ownership percentage or name value.
