DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider

Hyun-Jin Ryu - vs SD (DK - $9,700, FD - $8,200)

Ryu has been incredibly good in the last month, posting a 0.95 ERA in 19 innings with 20 strikeouts. This success should continue against the Padres, who are inept against left-handed pitching. Their .286 wOBA versus lefties ranks them dead last in all of baseball, while their 25.3% K-rate is the fifth-highest mark. When you consider the kind of run that Ryu is having and the opponent he gets on Saturday, it's crazy that his price isn't any higher.

Sean Manaea - vs BAL (DK - $6,200, FD - $7,200)

Manaea certainly hasn't had the same kind of success that Ryu has had recently, but his price makes him an outstanding buy-low candidate. Manaea's 3.96 FIP this year suggests that he hasn't been as bad as his ERA would tell you. He faces an Orioles lineup that may seem intimidating, but that is actually quite weak on the road. Their .307 wOBA away from home ranks them just 20th in the league, and the A's stadium is a very pitcher-friendly park. Grab Manaea for a cheap price and load up on some elite batters.

DFS Infielders to Consider

J.T. Realmuto - C, vs COL (DK - $3,800, FD - $2,800)

Realmuto has been one of the league's top hitting catchers this season, posting a .298/.259/.475 line, good for a 117 wRC+. He's one of the safest investments at the position, and is particularly cheap on FanDuel.

Eric Thames - 1B, vs CIN (DK - $4,000, FD - $2,600)

Thames has an absurd nine home runs against Reds pitching this year, as he's just straight up feasting on them. Milwaukee provides him with one of the best offensive environments in the game, and his opponent, Scott Feldman, has a 1.30 HR/9 this year. Don't be surprised if Thames goes deep once again.

Josh Harrison - 2B, at TOR (DK - $3,500, FD - $2,800)

As the Pirates two-hole hitter, Harrison is in a great spot for both runs and RBI production. He's in Toronto, a fantastic hitter's park, against Chris Rowley, a 26-year-old making his major league debut. The Pirates will likely run up the score on Saturday, and Harrison will be a big part of that.

Mike Moustakas - 3B, at CHW (DK - $4,400, FD - $4,200)

With two more homers last night, Moustakas is now at 34 on the season. He's on a torrid pace, and James Shields will only help that. Shields has a hilariously bad 6.69 FIP and 2.44 HR/9, so Moose is going to do some real damage against him.

Freddy Galvis - SS, vs NYM (DK - $3,600, FD - $3,900)

Galvis can give you sneaky production at a small cost in the shortstop position. He's already got double-digit steals and home runs, so he can give you fantasy points in multiple different ways. Play him against Steven Matz, who has been a complete mess with his 5.77 ERA.

DFS Outfielders to Consider

Shin-Soo Choo - OF, vs HOU (DK - $3,900, FD - $3,400)

Choo carries lots of value as the Rangers leadoff hitter, as he will get more plate appearances than most other hitters you can buy, which is more opportunity for production. Mike Fiers, his opposing pitcher, has a 5.30 ERA, so if the Rangers lineup scores lots of runs, so will Choo.

Steve Pearce - OF, vs PIT (DK - $3,700, FD - $3,600)

Pearce has been killing the ball lately, posting a .966 OPS with three homers in the last 15 days. As the Blue Jays fifth hitter, he can rack up lots of RBI. He's an under-the-radar play to consider, while you spend more payroll elsewhere.
