DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (4/7/16): NBA DFS Advice

Sam Nedimyer highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 4/7/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

We’re running out of time! With just about 10 games left per team, the NBA regular season is fast approaching its demise. It’s sad really that we must say goodbye. Until we do, we’re going to continue to pump out amazing recommendations that feature mostly silly value plays on non-playoff teams. That’s where the true winners have been able to find their aces.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 4/7/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Rajon Rondo (vs MIN, $8,100)

Fresh off his monster triple-double, expect Rondo’s ownership numbers to be astronomically high in safe lineups. He should be pretty cash safe against Ricky Rubio.

Ricky Rubio (at SAC, $6,800)

If there’s one thing Rubio loves, it’s a high paced game. In two games against the Kings this year, Rubio owns a 111 ORating and is averaging double-digit assists. He hasn’t necessarily lit up the scoreboard in those games, but that’s because he didn’t see a lot of court time. With two straight 34 minute games under his belt, those limited playing time games appears to be a thing of the past.

Patrick Beverley (vs PHO, $4,800)

Sit back, relax, and enjoy a nice BEV. Even though their young ‘uns are showing signs of playing hard, the Suns don’t own a lot of talent and as such are giving up a ton of points to opposing point guard. Bev offers phenomenal value on Thursday.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

James Harden (vs PHO, $11,100)

Honestly, I am not quite sure why I am recommending Haden. In fact, I will probably stray away from him altogether on Thursday mainly because the blowout scares me. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Beard drops 40 or drops his pants riding the pine up by forty.

Andrew Wiggins (at SAC, $6,500)

In case you haven’t noticed, we really like the offensive and fantasy upside featured in this matchup. After all, the over/under opened at 211. Wiggins has shouldered a healthy portion of the scoring load over the last week for the Wolves, including three straight games in which he has scored 24, 30, and 32 points, respectively. For an encore, I guarantee he goes for 40. (Warning: Not a guarantee).

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Kawhi Leonard (at GS, $9,000)

Even if Pop rests most of his players, I really don’t see Kawhi sitting at all. Considering how thin up top the swing position is on Thursday, expect Kawhi’s ownership numbers to be rather high.

Mirza Teletovic (vs NO, $5,000)

P. J. Tucker (vs NO, $4,700)

You might as well play a Negan-inspired game of eenie meenie miney mo when selecting between these two. Both Teletovic and Tucker have been playing their fair share of time over the last couple weeks, so I have no problems getting equal exposure to them in tournaments. For cash games, Teletovic makes a bit more sense as he will most likely be playing a stretch four, posing some matchup problems for the Rockets.

.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

DeMarcus Cousins (vs MIN, $10,500)

He is a center.

LaMarcus Aldridge (at GSW, $7,800)

Words cannot express how important it is to stay on top of Pop and his crazy DNPs. For the most part, Aldridge should be safe from getting some rest on Thursday. He is finally starting to get into a nice groove of playing nearly 40 minutes per outing and with the playoffs coming in hot, I’d like to think that Pop will play Aldridge in the same rotation to ensure he is not rusty. Off course I’m not Pop.

Bobby Portis (at MIA, $3,300)

Talk about day or night. If Taj Gibson sits again, then Portis will be an absolute fantasy darling. But if Gibson starts, don’t touch Bobby P. He is pretty much on the extremes.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Hassan Whiteside (vs CHI, $8,800)

Karl-Anthony Towns (at SAC, $8,600)

Whiteside is listed as questionable as of this writing. Suffice it to say that you should check on his status before the opening tip. If he does play, he makes for an interesting case. He is somewhat inured, but the Bulls have been absolutely decimated by the opposing center all season. As for Towns, what’s not to like about his upside against the Kings? Big KAT has put up some monster numbers in high-paced games against the Kings this year and he should continue to do just that on Thursday.

Boban Marjanovic (at GS, $3,000)

Oh man. Here he is!! You knew I had to recommend Boban, right?! Part of me really hopes Timmy D and a bunch of the other Spurs are resting so that Boban can get some run. Imagine him keeping up with the Warriros! He is averaging 21 and 14 per 36 minutes and owns a 128 ORating. Them be Dubs numbers!
