NCAA March Madness - daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks and sleepers for 3/17/16. Advice for the NCAA tournaments, and to win CBB DFS on FanDuel.

The NCAA tournament is finally upon us! With that comes a big slate from FanDuel and a final chance to play CBB DFS for the year.

Without further delay, below are our favorite Daily Fantasy College Basketball picks for FanDuel DFS games for March 17th, 2016.

CBB DFS Guards to Target on FanDuel

Top Plays Monte Morris ($8,500) and Kris Dunn ($9,100)

Morris checks in as a top play due to being the top play maker in a game with a huge total of 168. His upside has been limited recently with six straight games under 30 fantasy points, however he was over 30 in the previous four. Dunn follows him up with perhaps the top potential on the board. He should be limited to GPP’s as he has had three games under 20 in his last 10, which at this price is a disaster. With his triple-double upside, Dunn could easily hit 50 fantasy points and be on the winning lineup.

Mid Tier: Angel Rodriguez ($7,000) and Todrick Gotcher ($5,800)

Rodriguez mans the point for Miami in what could be a high scoring game with Buffalo. He is locked into huge minutes and has shown huge upside with over 30 fantasy points in four of the last 10 games. With the ability to grab steals, assists and rebounds he has a safe floor while a scoring punch could set up a high ceiling. If you need to go a bit cheaper in the mid-level, Gotcher leads Texas Tech into the tournament averaging over 11 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He has scored over 20 points in games against Kansas and Oklahoma State, but also has been held down by teams such as West Virginia. Butler generally likes to push the pace which should help Gotcher hit value in this one.

Value: Katin Reinhardt ($4,900) and Raphael Davis ($5,100)

Reinhardt falls being lead guards McLaughlin and Jacobs for USC, however he continues to see over 20 minutes a night and has scored in double figures in five of six games. He has not flashed huge upside, but for near minimum salary he should be able to produce solid value. Unlike Reinhardt, Davis has more upside for a low price, but also could derail any team. He lit up Michigan and Illinois the first two games of the Big Ten Tournament, but was held to 9.7 fantasy points by Michigan State. Little Rock figures to give Purdue a good game which means more minutes for Purdue’s guard.

CBB DFS Forwards to Target on FanDuel

Top Play: Brandon Ingram ($8,700) and Roosevelt Jones ($8,400)

The potential number one overall pick who is locked into 35 minutes and will be playing an outmatched opponent. Those green lights say fire up the Duke freshman with confidence. He has struggled a bit lately which has brought his price down which helps fit in a player with 45 fantasy point upside and a floor of 24 points. Because of price, Ingram will be one of the highest owned players on the board. On the other end, Jones is a senior leader for Butler. The positive with Jones, is that he is listed as a forward even though he plays a lot of time at point guard. That gives Jones a great GPP position in which he can hit value without even taking into account his scoring. Three straight games of over five assists and five rebounds shows his all-around game.

Mid Tier: Landen Lucas ($5,500) and Derek Willis ($5,700)

Lucas has turned into a consistent fantasy performer of late with over 14 fantasy points in nine of 10 games while playing upwards of 20 minutes each outing. He will not wow you with scoring, but is a fierce rebounder who averages over six per game and also offers upside on the defensive end. In a game they should dominate, Lucas could get more run than normal here. Willis on the other hand seems to be one of the missing cogs in the Kentucky offense. With him on the floor there is another shooter to join Jamal Murray and hurt defenses. It took a few games to come back from injury, but Willis has 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 blocks in the last two games. If he plays around 25 minutes he is a near lock to blow out his price tag.

Value: Marcus Bryan ($5,000) and Mike Tobey (4,800)

If UNC Wilmington is going to beat Duke it will need to do so on the glass as Duke has been destroyed in the rebounding battle of late. Bryan only pulls down four rebounds a contest, but has had over five in four of eight games. He will be physically out-matched, but a high paced game against a weak interior could provide a low owned GPP punt option. Tobey turned heads a few weeks ago on senior night where he had a huge 15 point and 20 rebound night against Louisville. Since that 39 fantasy point game he only has combined for 34 fantasy points in three games, but like Lucas, should see more run in what should be a blowout. Hampton has no one down low who can handle the Cavaliers big man in the post.
