Premier League DFS Goalkeeper Picks For DraftKings

Top Pick - Thibaut Courtois – Chelsea - Salary - $4,300

Chelsea have been scorching as of late, winning or drawing every match over all competitions since mid-December. Courtois hasn’t had to play the hero role, but has been the direct beneficiary of a stalwart backline and improved offensive attack. Look for another victory and a basement output of at least eight points this weekend when Chelsea face a Stoke squad that has only scored 29 league goals – the lowest total among the top 15 teams.

Value Pick - Adrian – West Ham United - Salary - $3,600

Adrian was wonderful on Wednesday versus Tottenham. The keeper and his solid three-man backline were an impenetrable wall, shutting-down Spurs’ chances at the top spot from the opening kikcoff. West Ham have caught fire as of late, looking like the hungriest team in the league, eager to earn its first top-four finish in over a decade.

With two prolific offenses in play here the goals will be plentiful. A clean sheet is an unlikely result for Adrian but with Everton looking shaky as of late, a victory should be in the cards for the Hammers, earning Adrian ten points.

Premier League DFS Defense Picks For DraftKings

Top Pick - Charlie Daniels – AFC Bournemouth - Salary - $4,200

Despite Bournemouth’s recent struggles to keep goals out of the net, Charlie Daniels has been a strong fanatasy option at the defender position. Daniels’ strength is his ability and willingness to cross, earning one point for every precise service into the box. The Cherry fullback has scored at least 10 points in five of his last seven matches, including the last three.

Value Pick - Virgil van Djik – Southampton - Salary - $3,000

It may not show up in the box score, but Virgil van Dijk has been one of the finest fullbacks in the English Premier League. The Dutchman’s technical ability and superb game intelligence has made him one of the finest disrupters in the league. His proficiency for winning tackles and intercepting balls has led directly to his consistent fantasy output, scoring at least five points in every match since mid-January.

Premier League DFS Midfielder Picks For DraftKings

Riyad Mahrez – Leicester City - Salary - $7,400

Mahrez has been one of the league’s most consistent fantasy performers this season, scoring at least 13 points in all but one game. Just last week the winger put together one of his finest performances of the year, netting a brace in a 3-2 victory versus West Brom.

Top Pick - Dimitri Payet - West Ham United Salary - $8,100

Its appropriate that Dimitri Payet is a Hammer – only a floating bubble could rise the elite height of form in which the playmaking Frenchman currently finds himself. On Wednesday, Payet continued to do what he has done all year – give opposing defenses fits. Against Tottenham, the league’s best defense, Payet was forcibly double-teamed, opening up space for his fellow midfielders to continually test Hugo Lloris and the Spurs’ backline. Despite the added defensive attention, Payet was still able to deliver scorching, almost perfect crosses and free kicks, leaving the Tottenham rearguard bewildered. Currently in the EPL, there is no better playmaker than Payet and he should continue to the first choice midfielder in all competitions for the remainder of the season.

Value Pick - Michail Antonio - West Ham United Salary - $5,100

Michail Antonio was at his best during the Hammers’ mid-week bout against Spurs. The London native gave the Upton Park faithful a reason to lose their collective minds, continuously pressing Hugo Lloris and terrorizing Ben Davies on the wing. Antonio has found a home on the right-wing in Slaven Bilic’s 3-5-2, scoring at least 19.5 points in three of West ham’s past five league matches. The Englishman is hitting his stride and is currently one of the league’s finest wingers, he’s a bargain buy in all formats.

Premier League DFS Midfielder Picks For DraftKings

Jamie Vardy – Leicester City - Salary - $7,800

After a month long dry-spell, Vardy has returned to his record-setting form and appears to be a man hungry for a league title. Vardy has scored at least 10 points in four of his last six matches, including a two-goal superlative showing in early February against Liverpool. Even in the matches in which Vardy did not score in the double-digits, the striker was able to fire a combined eight shots on net, proving that he is a lethal threat inside the box. Vardy has continually proven that he is the type of statistical anomaly that only builds on positive performances.

Odion Ighalo – Watford - Salary - $4,100

Gradel has only appeared in six league games this season, and is just two games back from an injury that has kept him off the pitch since late August. In his limited time, however, Gradel has been superb – scoring double-digit points in four of six outings. Since returning to action on February 27th, Gradel has made two starts, put four shots on target, and has scored 11 and 17 points respectively. The third time may be the charm, as the Cherries need to the striker to find net often if they hope to pick themselves out of the relegations zone.
