The first Friday fixture in the EPL in 11 years could conceivably be a commercial experiment.

In the weird and wacky world of the United Kingdom, however, the Friday scheduling is because of a lack of policing for a totally unconnected political protest march that is taking place in the West Midlands on Sunday, when the match was originally due to be played.

Manchester United vs Aston Villa

An extra day of soccer however  is always welcome and it is an intriguing match as both sides won last week, but neither necessarily played particularly well.  Last season Villa were awful at home. Manchester United were poor away from home as well and so something has to give.

Man U disappointed in their first week vs. Tottenham and they will look to improve the outcome here.  Tim Sherwood has energized both his team and support and this is a potentially difficult trip for Louis Van Gaal.  United managed just one shot on target last week, but their counter attacking prowess might just be the difference and historically United always beat Villa.

Look for Morgan Schneiderlin to control the midfield and Wayne Rooney to capitalize to secure the points for the Red Devils.
