MLB DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers – DraftKings Advice for 8/11/15

As always, my goal with this article is to help you identify viable options to insert into your DraftKings lineups, based on pricing and matchups data. Here's a compilation of players I like when choosing a lineup for Tuesday, August 11th.

Offenses to Target for DraftKings Stacking

Texas Rangers LHB vs Kyle Gibson

The left-handed bats in the Texas Rangers lineup hold a top five offense against right-handed pitching with a wRC+ of 116. Tuesday should be a great day to load up on some of these bats against opposing pitcher Kyle Gibson. Gibson has been blown up three times in four outings since the All Star Break. Be sure to consider Prince Fielder and Rougned Odor for your infield. Josh Hamilton also looks to be a nice selection for your outfield.

Toronto Blue Jays Middle of the Lineup vs Kendall Graveman

The Toronto Blue Jays offense has really been clicking as of late. As a team, the Blue Jays hold a top three offense against right-handed pitching with a wRC+ of 108. With this in mind, be sure to select a power bat or two from this lineup against opposing pitcher Kendall Graveman. Despite starting off this season well, Graveman has severely regressed. Josh Donaldson and Jose Bautista both make for excellent picks.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for DraftKings

Hector Santiago (SP, LAA) - $7400

Hector Santiago should be a great bargain pick as your primary starting pitcher. Santiago comes at a cheap price and his matchup against the Chicago White Sox is extremely appealing. The White Sox hold the second worst offense in the league against left-handed pitching with a wRC+ of 70. Sanitago can also provide you sneaky fantasy points with his decent strikeout rate.

Luis Severino (SP, NYY) - $5500

Luis Severino still has a lot to prove at the major league level, and his investment price reflects this aspect. However, Severino is extremely hard to turn down as a sleeper pick for your secondary pitcher on Tuesday. Severino showed great control and strikeout ability on the mound in his major league debut. For those who have loaded up on hitting for Tuesday, Severino should be a great pick against the Cleveland Indians, who hold a wRC+ of 100 against right-handed pitching.

DFS Infielders to Consider for DraftKings

Buster Posey (C, SF) - $4500

Buster Posey looks to be a safe bet for production on Tuesday against opposing pitcher Scott Kazmir at home. Posey has hit left-handed pitching extremely well this year, holding a wOBA of .357. Posey has also hit been extremely hot since the All Star Break, holding a .403 batting average.

Chris Davis (1B, BAL) - $4600

Chris Davis is dominating at the plate. Davis now has 11 home runs since the All Star Break, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Davis has hit opposing right-handed pitching extremely well, holding a wRC+ of 134. While Tajuan Walker has pitched well as of late, he has remained prone to the long ball, giving up eight home runs in his last six outings.

Robinson Cano (2B, SEA) - $4000

Robinson Cano looks like a great value pick at home against opposing pitcher Chris Tillman. Cano holds a .338 wOBA against right-handed pitching on the year and has dominated Tillman in his career. Cano is a lifetime 12 for 29 with two home runs against Tillman, who is also dealing with a left ankle sprain.

Josh Donaldson (3B, TOR) - $5600

Josh Donaldson has looked incredible as of late and is well worth his high price tag. Donaldson has hit .313 with 10 home runs since the All Star Break and heads into Tuesday with a seven game hitting streak. Donaldson will face opposing pitcher Kendall Graveman at home. Donaldson has crushed opposing right-handed pitching, with a wOBA of .385.

Carlos Correa (SS, HOU) - $4400

Carlos Correa leads the pack at the shortstop position. However, his price tag still remains completely affordable, and you should always look to start him against left-handed pitching. Correa will face opposing pitcher Madison Bumgarner at home on Tuesday. Correa has dominated left-handed pitching this year, holding a wRC+ of 170.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for DraftKings

Nelson Cruz (OF, SEA) - $5200

Nelson Cruz remains the top option at outfielder on Tuesday at home against opposing pitcher Chris Tillman. Cruz holds a great wOBA of .398 against right-handed pitching. His torrid hitting continues, as he now heads into Tuesday with a 20-game hitting streak. He has 12 home runs during that span and needs to have a lock on your primary outfield slot.

Andrew McCutchen (OF, PIT) - $4900

Andrew McCutchen has gone under the radar as of late. However, he has really rounded back to MVP form. McCutchen is 9 for his last 16 with two home runs, and has hit opposing right-handed pitching extremely well this year with a wRC+ of 152. McCutchen will face opposing pitcher Carlos Martinez on the road.

Carlos Gonzalez (OF, COL) - $3800

Carlos Gonzalez is a must start at this point. His price tag has only received slight upticks, as his power production has continued. Gonzalez will have a tough matchup on the road against Matt Harvey. However, his value is simply too high to turn down. Gonzalez has five home runs in his last five games and has crushed opposing right-handed pitching this year with a wRC+ of 164.
