MLB DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers - DraftKings Advice for 6/23/15

We're back to a full slate of games this Tuesday and there's a lot of pitchers hurling today to take advantage of. Here are my lineup picks for DraftKings DFS for June 23rd, 2015.

Editor's Note: If you play on DraftKings, you should check out our Partner FanDuel - they're hosting a one-day Fantasy Baseball league tonight. It's just $5 to enter and pays out $200,000 in cash prizes, including 10K to 1st place!

Offenses to Target for DraftKings Stacking

San Francisco Giants LHB vs Odrisamer Despaigne

The San Francisco Giants continue to dominate right-handed pitching as left-handed batters. Giants lefties hold a wRC+ of 116 against right-handed pitching, which is top five in the league. Tuesday looks like a great opportunity to load up on some cheap infield options from the Giants lineup against opposing pitcher Odrisamer Despaigne. Despaigne holds a 4.92 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP. Guys like Joe Panik and Brandon Crawford definitely deserve a look for your roster.

New York Yankees LHB vs Sean O’Sullivan

The left-handed batters in the New York Yankees lineup continue to provide an excellence source of power. As left-handed batters, the Yankees hold a top ten offense against right-handed pitching with a wRC+ of 111. This looks like a nice matchup against opposing pitcher Sean O’Sullivan. O’Sullivan continues to struggle vs. lefties and only has one quality start in his last five outings. Look to put Mark Teixeira and Brian McCann in your lineup. Stephen Drew could be a great sleeper pick as well.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for DraftKings

Zack Greinke (SP, LAD) $10500

Zack Greinke should be well worth his price tag as your primary starting pitcher for Tuesday. He has a great matchup against the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs hold a bottom ten offense against right-handed pitching with a wRC+ of 92. The Cubs also have the second highest strikeout rate in the league. Greinke should be able to put up a nice performance given his sparkling 1.81 ERA with a 0.94 WHIP.

Carlos Martinez (SP, STL) $8300

Carlos Martinez has provided consistent value this year and looks to be an excellent pick for a high-end secondary starting pitcher. Martinez holds a 2.80 ERA with a 1.26 WHIP on the year. He is striking out over one batter per inning, and should be in line for a good performance against the Miami Marlins on Tuesday. The Marlins hold a bottom five offense against right handed pitching with a wRC+ of 81.

DFS Infielders to Consider for DraftKings

Derek Norris (C, SD) $3000

Derek Norris is an extremely underrated catcher and his price tag shows it. Norris has been one of the most consistent catchers in the league this year, and has also hit two home runs in his last four games. Norris now holds a .252 average with 9 home runs and 41 RBI on the year. Norris has also had some nice numbers off opposing pitcher Madison Bumgarner. With his current price tag, he is an excellent catcher to target if you would like to conserve your investment in this position.

Chris Carter (1B, HOU) $3800

Chris Carter has had a tumultuous year. However, this is to be expected of him. He gets hot and cold very easily. Carter should be a nice value play for Tuesday given his domination against opposing pitcher C. J. Wilson. Against Wilson, Carter is a career 9 for 26 with 2 home runs. Despite his struggles, Carter still has 12 home runs on the year and should be a risk worth taking given his investment price.

Anthony Rendon (2B/3B, WAS) $3700

Anthony Rendon is supposed to be one of the best second basemen in baseball. He doesn’t have the numbers to show it yet but he has still managed to grab some hits at the plate since returning from injury earlier this year. Rendon looks to be a great bargain pick on Tuesday against opposing pitcher Alex Wood. Against Wood, Rendon is a career 8 for 13 with one home run.

Justin Turner (2B/3B, LAD) $3900

Justin Turner continues to hit extremely well and is a must play this point. His investment price has yet to catch up with his true production. Turner is 6 for his last 10 heading into this week, with a home run in each game. Turner now holds a .333 average with 9 home runs and 32 RBI on the year. Turner will be matched up against opposing pitcher Jason Hammel on Tuesday.

Jose Reyes (SS, TOR) $4000

Jose Reyes’s price tag has dipped since his scorching return from injury. However, he continues to provide excellent consistency at the shortstop position and now holds a .287 average with 2 home runs and 22 RBI on the year. Reyes is now a great value play, and especially on Tuesday against opposing pitcher Chris Archer. Reyes is a career 9 for 21 against Archer.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for DraftKings

Bryce Harper (OF, WAS) $5400

Bryce Harper is having an amazing year and his numbers speak for themselves at this point. He holds a .345 average with 24 home runs and 57 RBI. He has also hit home runs in consecutive games heading into this weekend. Harper looks to have a nice matchup against opposing pitcher Alex Wood on Tuesday. Harper is a career 7 for 14 against Wood, so expect the MVP candidate to have a nice day at the plate.

Justin Upton (OF, SD) $3800

Justin Upton is a great value pick at the outfield position given his great consistency. He looks to be an excellent pick for your secondary or tertiary outfield slot. Upton holds a .271 average with 13 home runs and 43 RBI on the year. Upton has hit very well against opposing pitcher Madison Bumgarner. Upton is a career 12 for 30 with a home run in this matchup. Definitely look to put him into your lineup.

Kevin Pillar (OF, TOR) $3500

Kevin Pillar continues to be one of the best hidden gems in fantasy baseball. Pillar gets to hit in the great Toronto offense, and has really held his own. He is one of the hottest players in baseball right now, and has a .403 average in the month of June. On the year, Pillar now holds a .269 average with 6 home runs and 34 RBI. His speed has made him an asset in this lineup, and you should definitely look to roster him as your tertiary outfielder.
