Toronto Maple Leafs winger Kirill Marchenko (lower body) exited early Monday after sustaining an injury in a 5-2 loss to Calgary. Early in the second period, Marchenko took an awkward fall after tangling with Flames forward Yegor Sharangovich and sustained a lower-body injury. Marchenko has been a great addition to the Maple Leafs' squad, averaging a point per game through 14 appearances. He has six goals and eight assists. If Marchenko has to miss time, Gavin McKenna could receive a new opportunity in the top six.
