Isiah Canion Making Strides
Georgia wide receiver Isiah Canion drew praise from Kirby Smart on Tuesday, as Smart stated that "(Canion) is not afraid to go down and make hard blocks and dig people out, but he's also got speed and athleticism to be a weapon on the perimeter. He's having an excellent, quiet camp. I'm very pleased with what he's bringing to our team." Canion transfers in from Georgia Tech, where he caught 33 passes for 480 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore last season. The Bulldogs do lack proven weapons at the receiver position, as their returning leading receiver, London Humphreys, had just 18 catches for 276 yards and three touchdowns in 2025. Canion could carve out a significant role for the Bulldogs in his first year with the program.
