Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Chase Burns, SP - CIN ($10.0K DK/$11.0K FD)
Chase Burns is the clear-cut spend-up on tonight's slate. He will square off against the New York Mets on the road at Citi Field. I have Burns projected for a 26.0% K% and 5.90 strikeouts in this matchup.
Chase Burns has pitched like a Cy Young-caliber arm this season. He has a 3.14 xFIP, 28.2% K%, 15.6% SwStr%, 0.95 WHIP, and a 1.07 HR/9 this season. Over his last two starts, Burns has a 2.07 xFIP, 37.2% K%, and a 19.3% SwStr%. Burns is elite.
The Mets have been a tremendous matchup all season long. They are one of baseball's worst offenses. They have a 21.3% K%, .640 OPS, and an 85 wRC+ against RHP this season. They have a 3.4 implied run total in my model tonight. Fire up Burns as your SP1 in all formats.
Top MLB DFS Stack for DraftKings, FanDuel
New York Yankees (Model-Projected IRT of 5.1 runs) vs. Bailey Falter
The Yankees will be my core stack tonight against southpaw Bailey Falter and the Kansas City Royals. They will play on the road at Kauffman Stadium, which is a slight ballpark downgrade for them. The matchup is so elite that they are still my top play tonight.
Bailey Falter has struggled in his short MLB stint in 2026. He has pitched to a 5.41 xFIP, 2.86 WHIP, and a 1.23 HR/9 this season. In his last start back in the big leagues, he allowed a 2.75 WHIP. When you face an offense as talented as the Yankees and allow that many baserunners, you are in a world of trouble.
The Yankees this season have crushed LHP. They have a .789 OPS and a 122 wRC+ against the split in 2026 and are red hot with a .839 OPS and a 139 wRC+ over the L14 days. Falter has allowed power to both sides of the plate, and with the amount of baserunners he allows, a full stack is recommended in this spot.
Favorite Targets: Paul Goldschmidt, Cody Bellinger, Ben Rice, Trent Grisham, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Anthony Volpe, Aaron Judge
Top MLB DFS Hitter for DraftKings, FanDuel
Paul Goldschmidt, 1B - NYY ($4.1K DK/$3.2K FD)
Goldy has been a staple in my lineups when the Yankees face a southpaw, and tonight is no different. The last time he was featured as the top hitter in this article, he took the first pitch of the game deep. He has a .499 wOBA, .415 ISO, and a 1.183 OPS against LHP this season. Over his last 14 ABs, he has a 1.987 OPS against the split. Falter has allowed a .914 OPS to RHH in 2026. Load up on the Yankees' leadoff man.
