Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (Achilles) is reportedly targeting a Friday return against Dallas, according to Bill Simmons, after missing the entire season with a torn Achilles. Tatum averaged 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.1 steals, and 3.5 triples across 72 games last season and would immediately reclaim a featured role if cleared. Tatum's usage should ramp quickly, cutting into Sam Hauser's and Baylor Scheierman's minutes while easing the burden on Derrick White and Payton Pritchard. Managers should prepare to activate him, though efficiency and workload may fluctuate early.--Brian Dailisan
