Frank Ragnow Unretires, Returns to Lions
Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow is coming out of retirement to return to the team, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The 29-year-old announced his retirement in June, but has now returned to the Lions and is reportedly in game shape, putting him on track to return sooner rather than later. Ragnow was one of the best centers in the NFL at the time of his surprise retirement and will be welcomed back with open arms by the Lions organization. He has the third-highest PFF grade (91.7) and the third-highest run blocking grade (93.6) among centers since 2018. Ragnow's first opportunity to suit up for Detroit will be in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football, although it's considered more likely that he will return in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams.
