Thatcher Demko Suffers Lower-Body Injury Tuesday
Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (lower body) was limited to only one period of play in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Demko has been banged up lately and missed a couple of games last weekend. On Tuesday, he reportedly suffered a lower-body injury unrelated to his previous issue. Against the Jets, Demko allowed three goals on eight shots before his exit. After he missed most of last season with a knee injury, it's unfortunate to see Demko dealing with health issues again. He has a 5-4-0 record this season with a 2.80 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage. Kevin Lankinen is set to carry a heavy workload if Demko misses further time.
