Fire Up the Packers' D/ST Against Carolina in Week 9
The Green Bay Packers defense and special teams unit allowed 25 points in their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they have a pretty good matchup on tap in Week 9 when the Packers host the Carolina Panthers. The Packers have been solid, yet unspectacular this season as a fantasy defense, and their Week 8 performance continued that trend. Green Bay sacked the quarterback three times and added a fumble recovery against Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers. Pittsburgh added a garbage-time score, which helped inflate the point total. At home against Carolina, the Packers could feast on Bryce Young and an offense that has been very hit or miss this season. That said, the Packers' D/ST is one of the better plays this week and should be started in a majority of fantasy leagues.
