Matthew Golden, Tetairoa McMillan, Marvin Harrison: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 6

Tetairoa McMillan - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Should I start Matthew Golden, Tetairoa McMillan, Marvin Harrison Jr. for Week 6? Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and recommendations for the 2025 NFL season.

As we draw closer to the start of Week 6, many fantasy managers are facing some tough start/sit decisions. It's imperative that gamers get these calls right, as one wrong move could cost them a spot in the fantasy playoffs.

Matthew Golden, Tetairoa McMillan, and Marvin Harrison Jr. are a few of the wide receivers available to gamers this week. There are positives and negatives to starting all three, but each one is capable of producing a week-winning performance.

So, should fantasy managers start Golden, McMillan, and Harrison in Week 6? Let's analyze each player.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Should I Start Matthew Golden for Fantasy Football?

Golden’s rookie season has been underwhelming through four games. He’s only had 11 receptions for 126 receiving yards and has yet to find the endzone. He’s also played more than 59% of offensive snaps in just one game this year.

While all of this might be surprising to some, the reality is that Golden did not enter the league as a finished product and needs time to learn and grow. However, Green Bay draws the perfect opponent in Week 6 for Golden to potentially post a spike game.

The Packers will face a Cincinnati Bengals defense that ranks 27th in FTN Fantasy’s defensive passing DVOA. Cincinnati has also allowed the 10th-most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers per Fantasy Football Today.

Even though this is a fantastic matchup for the Packers' rookie, Golden’s role and playing time are problematic for fantasy football purposes. That relegates Golden to a low-end WR3 or flex range for gamers. He’s a decent bye-week replacement in this game, but will remain a highly volatile play until he sees an increase in playing time.

Should I Start Tetairoa McMillan for Fantasy Football?

While McMillan has looked good during the early stages of his rookie season, it hasn’t translated to much fantasy production. He’s only had one top-24 finish in PPR leagues through the season's first five games.

However, McMillan has seen plenty of volume, and his advanced metrics look strong. Per Fantasy Points Data Suite, McMillan has a 24% target per route run and a 2.02 yards per route run. These are strong marks and indicate a breakout game could be on the horizon.

That could come in Week 6 against a Dallas Cowboys defense that might be the worst in the league. Dallas ranks 28th in PFF’s pass coverage grade, 30th in defensive passing DVOA, and has allowed the most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers.

Even with quarterback Bryce Young playing an inconsistent brand of football, McMillan could explode for his best game of the season. Gamers should leave the Panthers' WR1 in their lineups this weekend.

Consider him a low-end WR1 or high-end WR2 for Week 6.

Should I Start Marvin Harrison Jr. for Fantasy Football?

Harrison is fresh off a 4-98-0 outing against the Tennessee Titans' defense last week. He set a season-high in receiving yards and came a few inches shy of finding the endzone for the second consecutive game.

For whatever reason, though, Arizona went away from its WR1 and would eventually lose, in embarrassing fashion, to a previously winless Tennessee Titans team. This week, the Cardinals will take on an Indianapolis Colts team that has surprisingly started the season 4-1.

This matchup is a potentially intriguing one for Harrison. The Colts currently rank third in DVOA against opposing WR1s, but have also allowed the fifth-most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers.

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is also trending toward missing this weekend’s game. Jacoby Brissett would start in his place. This may or may not be a good thing for Harrison’s outlook. Murray is a better player than Brissett, but the former has had trouble connecting with Harrison over the last two years. This is a tricky call as it’s a decent spot to play Harrison, but he’s also potentially working with a backup quarterback.

Gamers should consider Harrison a WR3 with upside for more if Brissett targets him more consistently than Murray did.
