College Football DFS Rankings for Week 6 - Daily Fantasy Expert Picks (Saturday, 10/4/25)

Ty Simpson - College Football Rankings, CFB DFS Lineups, NFL Draft

Brad's college football DFS rankings for Week 6 on 10/4/25. His daily fantasy college football rankings for QBs, RBs, and WRs and the DFS slates on DraftKings and FanDuel.

For perhaps the first time this college football season, there are no real slam-dunk matchups or plays in DFS. There are certainly some good teams to target and players who should hit value, but nothing stands out, which should make tournaments fun this weekend.

In GPPs, it will be interesting to see how stacking works as the wide receiver group is a bit weak on the slate. Also of note, will it be a week in which you can target both running backs from the same team (Notre Dame), or will a late injury throw the slate into chaos?

In the article below, you will find my CFB DFS lineup picks for Week 6 (Saturday, October 4) via my positional college football rankings. Use these CFB DFS rankings when building daily fantasy college football on DraftKings, and be sure to read the rest of our CFB DFS articles and CFB betting articles as well. Good luck, RotoBallers!

CFB DFS Quarterback Rankings

QB Cash Rankings Per $ QB GPP Rankings Per $
1 Sawyer Robertson 1 Ty Simpson
2 Chandler Morris 2 Diego Pavia
3 Avery Johnson 3 Sawyer Robertson
4 Miller Moss 4 Arch Manning
5 Ty Simpson 5 Chandler Morris
6 Gunner Stockton 6 Avery Johnson
7 Brendan Sorsby 7 Miller Moss
8 Diego Pavia 8 Brendan Sorsby
9 Noah Fifita 9 Rocco Becht
10 Rocco Becht 10 Gunner Stockton

It is a bit of rinse and repeat in cash games this week, as there are safe quarterback options at all price points. Fantasy stalwarts like Sawyer Robertson, Avery Johnson, and Diego Pavia lead the way, while high-powered offenses fill out the cash game lineup. The matchup between Morris and Miller Moss is a bit sneaky, as that game has a slate-high 62.5 total.

In GPPs, it will be very interesting to see how the big names of Arch Manning and Gunner Stockton are used. Manning has massive upside, but has been less than stellar thus far against good competition. Brendan Sorsby is a name that is under the radar, but is the only thing Cincinnati's offense has, so look for him to put up numbers even in a tough game environment.

CFB DFS Running Back Rankings

RB Cash Rankings Per $ RB GPP Rankings Per $
1 Jeremiyah Love 1 Jeremiyah Love
2 Justice Haynes 2 Bryson Washington
3 Adam Randall 3 Trent Howland
4 Ismail Mahdi 4 Justice Haynes
5 Jadarian Price 5 Adam Randall
6 Seth McGowan 6 Dylan Edwards
7 Sedrick Alexander 7 J'Mari Taylor
8 Trent Howland 8 Ismail Mahdi
9 Bryson Washington 9 Dylan Riley
10 Rodney Fields Jr. 10 Jadarian Price

As with quarterback, there are seemingly good cash game plays at running back at every price point. After a four-touchdown half last week, it is hard not to play Jeremiyah Love in cash games, even at that price. Meanwhile, down the list, you can find some cheap options to fit in. With receivers cheap again, two stud backs should be an option.

As was mentioned above, this may be the week to win a GPP with double-stacking your running backs. Notre Dame loves to run the ball and has Love and Jadarian Price, who both could get multiple touchdowns. Meanwhile, on the cheap end, Oklahoma State's duo of Trent Howland and Rodney Fields Jr. should see enough work in what could be a blowout to have them both hit value at low prices.

CFB DFS Wide Receiver Rankings

WR Cash Rankings Per $ WR GPP Rankings Per $
1 Caullin Lacy 1 Germie Bernard
2 Bryant Wesco Jr. 2 Bryant Wesco Jr.
3 Cyrus Allen 3 Josh Cameron
4 Germie Bernard 4 Caullin Lacy
5 Eli Stowers 5 Chris Bell
6 Hank Beatty 6 Cyrus Allen
7 Josh Cameron 7 Hank Beatty
8 Junior Sherrill 8 Eli Stowers
9 Trebor Pena 9 Parker Livingstone
10 Chris Bell 10 Kole Wilson

For the record, the wide receiver group is just ugly this week. There appear to be no slam-dunk plays and plenty of boom or bust candidates, even in cash games. Look to target a high total game, such as Louisville/Virginia or Kansas State/Baylor.

In GPPs, stacking also seems like a must; however, look to lesser-owned spots such as Alabama/Vanderbilt or maybe the Notre Dame/Boise State receivers. Also of note, players such as Kole Wilson and Parker Livingstone have had huge boom or bust games this year, but they do allow salary relief with known upside.
