Washington Nationals starting pitcher Josiah Gray (elbow) won't make it back to the big league mound before the end of the regular season. Gray has been working his way back from last year's Tommy John surgery. He was able to make a few rehab starts, but doesn't have enough time to get ready to throw a big league game. He'll return to the team's spring training complex, which will end any chances of Gray pitching in the big leagues in 2025. The expectation is that Gray should be ready in time for the beginning of the 2026 campaign.--Andy Webb
