Enrique Bradfield Jr. Moving Up to Triple-A
The Baltimore Orioles are promoting outfield prospect Enrique Bradfield Jr. from Double-A Chesapeake to Triple-A Norfolk. The 17th overall pick in the 2023 draft, Bradfield dealt with a hamstring strain that limited him to 50 games with Chesapeake this year. The 23-year-old speedster still posted impressive production with the Baysox, slashing .269/.393/.386 with two homers, 14 RBI, 32 runs scored, and 26 stolen bases. He also tallied almost as many walks (32) as strikeouts (37) in that 250-plate appearance span. Bradfield ranks fourth among O's prospects at MLB Pipeline and could put his elite speed on display in the majors sometime next year.
