Christian Moore Losing Playing Time Amid Skid
Christian Moore has begun to lose playing time. He hit the bench once again on Wednesday, in favor of Luis Rengifo. Over the last week, the former eighth overall pick has sat out of three games. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on his status, but it appears the Angels could option him back to Triple-A as he is falling out of a role with the major league club. Since returning from the injured list on August 3, Moore has held a modest .200/.310/.280 line with two doubles and an 8:4 K:BB. During this stretch, Moore has not gone deep. Throughout his first 18 games in the majors before his injury, Moore held a .189 AVG with a .698 OPS. Given his decreasing playing time and lack of success at the plate, he is only worth rostering in deeper formats for the time being.
