Tanner Gordon in Line to Start on Wednesday
Tanner Gordon is with the team at Coors Field and is in line to make the start for Wednesday's contest against the visiting St. Louis Cardinals, according to MLB.com's Thomas Harding. Gordon will be making just his fourth start in 2025 and only the 12th of his big-league career. The 27-year-old's last start in the majors came back on May 28 before he went on the injured list with an oblique injury. He has looked decent of late on the farm at Triple-A Albuquerque, but he'll be a very risky fantasy streamer on Wednesday at hitter-friendly Coors Field. In his three starts for the Rockies earlier this season, Gordon went 1-2 with a 4.24 ERA (3.97 FIP) and 1.35 WHIP with 10 strikeouts and three walks in 17 innings. With German Marquez (biceps) going on the IL, Gordon will have a chance to stick around in Colorado for a bit.
