Jake Burger Scratched on Sunday
Jake Burger (quadriceps) has been scratched from Sunday's lineup. Burger was initially expected to rejoin the starting nine on Sunday after sitting out on Saturday with a quadriceps injury. However, the team will opt to exercise caution and keep him out for the final game of the first half. Instead, Alejandro Osuna will serve as the designated hitter and bat in the eight hole. Following a rough start to his tenure in Texas, Burger has begun to turn the corner at the plate. Over his last eight games, the slugger has posted a strong .323/.344/.452 slash line with one double and one home run. Under the hood, he holds a .467 xSLG, 13.4% barrel rate, and a 48.3% hard-hit rate, which suggests he should continue to enjoy a power surge in the second half. The Rangers are best to fade in DFS facing Houston right-hander Hunter Brown.
