MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (7/2/25)

Cam Smith - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Rankings. MLB Prospects

CeeGee's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Wednesday, 7/2/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Happy Wednesday Rotoballers! We’ve got a juicy 10-game slate kicking off at 7:07 PM ET, packed with pitching intrigue and offensive fireworks potential. The slate features some high-upside arms like Hunter Brown in Coors (yep, we’re going there), balanced against safer options like Logan Gilbert in a pitcher’s park.

On the hitting side, Coors Field looms large, but there’s value everywhere, from the Yankees’ power bats to underpriced Mets facing a rookie arm. Weather could be a factor in Boston and Chicago with some precipitation chances, so keep an eye on lineups closer to lock.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/2/2025, with the slate starting at 7:10 PM. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Hunter Brown - HOU - P ($10,300 DK; $9,700 FD)

I know what you’re thinking: Coors Field? Really? Hear me out. Hunter Brown has been a strikeout machine, boasting a 29.5% K-rate against lefties and 25.2% against righties. The Rockies’ lineup is strikeout-prone, with guys like Michael Toglia (37.7% K-rate) and Ryan Ritter (41.5% K-rate) likely to whiff. Brown’s 19.21 DK points projection is slate-high, and his ability to limit hard contact (.281 xwOBA vs. lefties) makes him a sneaky GPP play despite the park. On FanDuel, his $9,700 price is a bargain for this upside, especially with single-pitcher scoring rewarding strikeouts.

Logan Gilbert - SEA - P ($9,500 DK; $9,400 FD)

If you’re looking for safety, Logan Gilbert is your guy. T-Mobile Park suppresses offense, and the Royals’ lineup doesn’t scare anyone, with a middling .318 xwOBA against righties. Gilbert’s 30.1% K-rate against lefties and 28.4% against righties make him a cash game staple, projected for 19.46 DK points. His $9,400 FD price is a touch high but justified for his floor. He’s a set-and-forget option for DraftKings cash games, where his consistency shines in deeper lineups.

Tanner Bibee - CLE - P ($7,500 DK; $8,100 FD)

Tanner Bibee is a value gem at $7,500 on DK, facing a Cubs lineup that’s been inconsistent against righties. His 24.5% K-rate against lefties and .289 xwOBA allowed to righties suggest he can exploit Chicago’s high-strikeout bats like Dansby Swanson (25.3% K-rate). Wrigley’s 14% precipitation chance adds some risk, but Bibee’s 15.48 DK points projection makes him a strong SP2 on DraftKings. On FanDuel, his $8,100 price is less appealing but still viable for GPPs.

Also Consider:

Shota Imanaga - CHC - P ($8,500 DK; $7,800 FD): Facing Cleveland’s low-ISO lineup, Imanaga’s 27.9% K-rate against lefties and pitcher-friendly Wrigley make him a solid mid-tier option, especially at $7,800 on FD.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Jose Ramirez - CLE - 3B ($5,600 DK; $3,600 FD)

Jose Ramirez is a lock against lefty Shota Imanaga. Ramirez’s .277 ISO and .366 xwOBA against lefties scream upside, and his $3,600 FD price is a steal for a guy who can go yard or steal a base. On DraftKings, his $5,600 tag fits nicely in cash or GPP lineups, especially with Cleveland’s sneaky stack potential. He’s a cornerstone for both platforms.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. - TOR - 1B ($5,500 DK; $3,400 FD)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is heating up, and Will Warren’s 13.3% walk rate sets up a juicy matchup. Vlad’s .412 xwOBA and .201 ISO against righties make him a prime power threat at Rogers Centre. His $5,500 DK price is fair for the upside, while $3,400 on FanDuel is a no-brainer for cash games. Pair him with Bo Bichette for a Blue Jays mini-stack.

Francisco Lindor - NYM - SS ($5,400 DK; $3,500 FD)

Francisco Lindor gets a dream matchup against rookie Jacob Misiorowski, who’s shown control issues (20% BB-rate vs. lefties). Lindor’s .371 xwOBA and .202 ISO against righties make him a multi-hit candidate at Citi Field. At $5,400 on DK, he’s a GPP pivot from pricier shortstops, while $3,500 on FD is a cash game lock. His switch-hitting ability adds a slight edge in this spot.

Also Consider:

Pete Alonso - NYM - 1B ($5,000 DK; $3,900 FD), Mark Vientos - NYM - 3B ($3,000 DK; $2,600 FD), Jeff McNeil - NYM - 2B/OF ($3,400 DK; $2,900 FD): The Mets’ infield offers value against Misiorowski’s inexperience, with Alonso’s power, Vientos’ upside, and McNeil’s contact skills.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Aaron Judge - NYY - OF ($6,500 DK; $4,800 FD)

Aaron Judge is the slate’s premier spend-up, facing Jose Berrios, who’s allowed a .336 xwOBA to righties. Judge’s .469 xwOBA and .350 ISO against righties are elite, and his 0.442 xHR projection screams home run potential. At $6,500 on DK, he’s a GPP must, while $4,800 on FD is steep but worth it for his ceiling. Stack him with Jazz Chisholm Jr. for Yankees exposure.

Juan Soto - NYM - OF ($5,700 DK; $4,000 FD)

Juan Soto is a bargain at $5,700 on DK against Jacob Misiorowski, whose 20% walk rate to lefties plays into Soto’s patient approach (.470 xwOBA, .279 ISO vs. righties). Citi Field isn’t ideal, but Soto’s 0.246 xHR projection and multi-hit upside make him a cash game staple. His $4,000 FD price is a gift for this matchup.

Cam Smith - HOU - OF ($4,200 DK; $3,400 FD)

Coors Field alert! Rookie Cam Smith has been one of the most productive hitters in the sport over the past few weeks. Entering Wednesday, the former first-round pick has posted an impressive .351/.405/.558 line with four doubles and four home runs over his last 20 contests.

Smith should be in a prime position to stay hot in the batter's box facing Colorado left-hander Austin Gomber. Gomber enters this game with a high 6.14 ERA. Over his last two outings, he has allowed 16 hits and has only struck out one batter.

Also Consider:

Mike Trout - LAA - OF ($4,500 DK; $3,200 FD), Taylor Ward - LAA - OF ($4,300 DK; $3,200 FD), Zach Neto - LAA - SS ($5,000 DK; $3,200 FD): The Angels’ outfield and Neto offer value against Didier Fuentes, who’s allowed a .468 xwOBA to righties in limited action.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

Houston Astros (vs. Austin Gomber - COL)

Coors Field is the place to be, and the Astros’ righty-heavy lineup feasts on Austin Gomber’s .358 xwOBA allowed to righties. Target Jose Altuve ($5,200 DK; $3,600 FD), Cam Smith ($4,200 DK; $3,400 FD), and Yainer Diaz ($4,300 DK; $3,300 FD) for a stack that can explode for 15+ runs. On DraftKings, this stack fits well with a value arm like Bibee, while FanDuel’s single-pitcher format loves the upside.

New York Mets (vs. Jacob Misiorowski - MIL)

The Mets get a rookie in Jacob Misiorowski, whose control issues (20% BB-rate vs. lefties) scream regression. Load up on Juan Soto ($5,700 DK; $4,000 FD), Francisco Lindor ($5,400 DK; $3,500 FD), Pete Alonso ($5,000 DK; $3,900 FD), and Mark Vientos ($3,000 DK; $2,600 FD) for a balanced stack. This works for both DraftKings GPPs and FanDuel cash games, given the value at the bottom.

New York Yankees (vs. Jose Berrios - TOR)

Jose Berrios’ .336 xwOBA allowed to lefties makes the Yankees’ big bats enticing. Stack Aaron Judge ($6,500 DK; $4,800 FD), Jazz Chisholm Jr. ($5,100 DK; $3,800 FD), Cody Bellinger ($4,500 DK; $3,300 FD), and Trent Grisham ($4,100 DK; $3,100 FD) for a power-heavy GPP stack. On DraftKings, this is a premium spend, but FanDuel’s pricing makes it more accessible.
