Anthony Richardson to Get Another Opinion on his Shoulder
Anthony Richardson (shoulder), who was shut down on the second day of organized team activities last week, will seek another opinion on his troublesome right shoulder with Dr. Neal ElAttrache this week. ElAttrache is the one who did Richardson's AC-joint surgery in 2023. The Colts said that the 23-year-old former first-rounder's shoulder was structurally sound, but the fact that he's visiting with the same doctor that did his surgery isn't good news, and he'll also miss mandatory minicamp this week. There's currently no timetable for Richardson's return, and it's fair to wonder if he'll even be ready for the start of training camp at the end of July. Richardson could still be ready for Week 1 this fall, but right now, his injury increases the chances that Daniel Jones will open the 2025 season as Indy's starting QB.
