Amed Rosario Starting on Saturday
Amed Rosario (leg) is starting at third base during Saturday's contest against the San Francisco Giants. Rosario has been held out of the starting lineup since May 15. However, he did make an appearance during Thursday's game. This afternoon, he will bat in the two-hole. Before his injury, Rosario was enjoying a productive stretch at the plate, posting a .361/.410/.500 slash line with two doubles, one home run, and nine RBI. Through 26 games this season, the 29-year-old has posted a .305/.337/.439 line with two long balls and a stolen base. Given his strong start to the season, fantasy managers should expect Rosario to continue to see close to an everyday role in the Washington starting nine. This afternoon, he is slated to face San Francisco lefty Kyle Harrison.
