Carlos Correa, Byron Buxton Both Out on Friday
Carlos Correa (head) and outfielder Byron Buxton (head) are both out of the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Milwaukee Brewers after they collided chasing a pop-up in Thursday's win over the Baltimore Orioles. Although neither player has been put on the injured list, they are both in the league's concussion protocol, and it's unknown if they'll be available to play all weekend. Brooks Lee is starting at short and batting third, while DaShawn Keirsey Jr. is in center field and hitting eighth against Brewers right-hander Chad Patrick. Fantasy managers should prepare for the potential of both Correa and Buxton landing on the seven-day concussion list if they are unable to return in Milwaukee this weekend. Both Lee and Keirsey will be everyday players for Minnesota until Correa and Buxton are able to return.
