Blake Corum 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Will Corum Show Signs Of Life After Disappointing Year 1?
There wasn't much to write home about in Blake Corum's rookie year. He only carried the football 58 times for 207 yards and scored a whopping zero touchdowns. Despite speculation that Corum would cut into starter Kyren Williams' workload, things never materialized. Corum will now have to fend off incoming rookie Jarquez Hunter for the RB2 spot. The former Michigan Wolverine should have an edge over the rookie for the position, but it's a battle to monitor over the summer. Once again, there's been chatter that Rams head coach Sean McVay wants to utilize the team's running backs differently in 2025. This could mean Corum is live for more touches as a sophomore. However, given how this story played out last year, we'll need to see Corum get more work before we believe it. He remains one of the best handcuffs in fantasy football due to the large workload he would inherit in the event of a Williams injury. Fantasy gamers should feel comfortable taking Corum with a late-round pick for running back depth or as a Williams insurance plan.
