Oswaldo Cabrera Stretchered Off Field With Ankle Injury Monday
Oswaldo Cabrera (ankle) left Monday's 11-5 win against the Mariners in the top of the ninth inning with what appeared to be a serious left ankle injury. Cabrera was attempting to tag up from third base on an Aaron Judge fly-out and had his leg give out while trying to score. The training staff instantly came out to assist, and Cabrera was placed on a stretcher before being taken out of the stadium in an ambulance. The 26-year-old went 1-for-4 with a single and a walk in the game. Cabrera's health is more important than his potential fantasy contributions, and more information on his injury should become available in the coming days.
