Jeral Perez Heating Up At High-A
Jeral Perez has begun to find his swing at High-A. On Wednesday, Perez enjoyed his best game of the young season as he went 2-for-5 with two long balls and brought in three runs. Over his last five games, Perez has posted a strong .273/.333/.727 slash line with one double and three home runs. Prior to this surge, Perez held a modest .230/.333/.525 line over his first 17 games at the level. Last summer, Perez spent all of his time at Low-A, split between Rancho and Kannapolis. Across 105 games, Perez held a .262/.370/.423 slash line with 25 doubles, 12 home runs, and four stolen bases. Fantasy managers should expect the No. 20-ranked prospect on the Southside to spend most of the campaign at High-A.
