FanDuel NBA DFS Picks for Today (Friday 2/7/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Jarrett Allen - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Dan's favorite FanDuel NBA DFS picks for today, Friday - 2/7/25. His top daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for FanDuel DFS contests.

There are just six games tonight, but we could see several star players return from injury and a few others make their debuts on new teams after being traded earlier in the week.

I'm going to break down the slate for FanDuel, and I always make it a point to recommend some higher-priced players for cash games and GPPs while highlighting some of my favorite value plays and game stacks. If you want DraftKings picks, see who Zach Thompson likes by reading his piece here.

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 2/7/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 EST on FanDuel.

FanDuel NBA DFS Core Picks

De'Aaron Fox, SAS - PG/SG ($9.3K)

Fox's debut in San Antonio could not have gone any better. Granted, he did have an ideal opponent as the Spurs played the Hawks, but he was motivated and ready to lead his new team as both a scorer and facilitator. Fox finished with 24 points and 13 assists, good for 57.5 FD points.

The Spurs have another soft matchup tonight against the Hornets. LaMelo Ball could return, but the Spurs are heavily favored either way and should be able to score a ton of points tonight as the Hornets traded away their best big man, Mark Williams, and won't have much rim protection on defense.

Jarrett Allen, CLE - PF/C ($7.2K)

If you have been reading my FD picks this season, you know I love to take advantage of the fact that FanDuel has Allen available as a PF in their format.

The Wizards defense has been a cieve all season and they allow the most FD points to opposing big men. Expect a lot of easy buckets for Allen and Mobley on the interior tonight. And while Mobley brings a higher ceiling, he also costs a lot more salary.

I think Allen can get us to 6x value even without playing the whole fourth quarter. He's been that efficient, and the matchup is that good.

Bilal Coulibaly, WAS - SG/SF ($6.3K)

Targeting a player on a team that is a 17-point underdog as a core play isn't something I'd usually do, but this is a funky slate with a lot of question marks still in terms of which players will be available after trades.

With Washington sending away Jonas Valanciunas and Kyle Kuzma at the deadline, Coulibaly took over on Wednesday night against Brooklyn and finished with a triple-double and 42.5 FD points.

It was his second straight game with 42 FD points as he's beginning to show off his versatile stat set. He should play heavy minutes tonight against Cleveland and he's likely to still get his numbers even if the Cavs end up boat-racing the Wizards.

Others Under Consideration: Evan Mobley - PF/C ($8.7K), Victor Wembanyama - PF/C ($12.2K)

FanDuel NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Onyeka Okongwu, ATL - PF/C ($7.1K)

The Hawks will be without Clint Capela tonight, who is still out with an injury. Jalen Johnson is out for the year. And they just shipped De'Andre Hunter to the Cavs in a trade yesterday.

Okongwu should start at center and play as many minutes as he can handle tonight. He just went for 30 points against the Spurs on Wednesday night while adding 12 boards and five assists. We know he has massive potential with 30 minutes and like Allen, he is PF-eligible on FanDuel despite being a center.

Damian Lillard, MIL – PG ($9.2K)

Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable tonight after sitting out Wednesday with a tight calf muscle. So be prepared to deploy Dame tonight, as he could be asked to carry the Bucks' offense as he did on Wednesday night when he went 29-4-12 in only 30 minutes against the Hornets.

This is a solid price on Dame, especially in a pace-up spot against the Hawks. And if Giannis does sit, then he becomes a must-play in all formats.

Others Under Consideration: Joel Embiid - C ($10.6K), Donovan Mitchell - PG/SG ($8.6K)

FanDuel NBA DFS Value Picks

Tristan Vukcevic, WAS – C ($3.9K)

Richaun Holmes should start at center with Alex Sarr out again, but Vukcevic will split minutes with Holmes and has a solid skill set of his own. The Wizards are 17-point underdogs, so targeting some bench players for mop-up minutes makes sense.

Kyshawn George, WAS - SF/PF ($4.6K)

George played 30 minutes on Wednesday as the departure of Kyle Kuzma opened up minutes at SF and PF. Alex Sarr is out, Malcolm Brogdon is out, and Khris Middleton isn't likely to make his Washington debut yet, so even if the Wizards get smoked, I think George has a solid shot at 30+ minutes again.

Bub Carrington, WAS - PG ($4.5K)

Carrington is coming off one of his best games of the season, going for 16 points and ten assists against Brooklyn. He played 35 minutes and should log heavy minutes tonight against Cleveland, too.

Ty Jerome, CLE - PG ($5.3K)

Caris LeVert is gone, so Jerome should take over as the main ball-handler with the second unit. He's not cheap here, but the Cavs are massive favorites and he could end up playing more minutes in the second half if the Cavs get up big.

Jonathan Mogbo, TOR – PF/C ($3.9K)

Toronto is without their starting center, Jakob Poeltl, tonight and just sent Kelly Olynyk away in a trade. Mogbo played 18 minutes against Memphis on Wednesday and was able to register 20 FD points. He and Chris Boucher are the only true big men healthy on the roster, so I would expect him to play minutes in the twenties.

Others Under Consideration: Chris Boucher - PF/C ($4K), Zaccharie Risacher - SF ($5.4K), Nick Smith Jr. - SG ($4.9K)
