Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 17? Bo Nix, Audric Estime, Javonte Williams

Javonte Williams - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS and Betting Picks

Who should I start for Week 17? Fantasy football outlooks for Bo Nix, Audric Estime, Javonte Williams. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

The Denver Broncos will head to the great state of Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 in a matchup with serious playoff implications. If the Bengals lose this game, it's over for them, but if they win, they have a chance at making it past the regular season.

Meanwhile, the Broncos sit at 9-6, and don't have their spot in the postseason locked up yet, either. And they have a tough remaining schedule ahead of them.

At least they'll both be motivated to play their best football of the season. So let's break down some fantasy football start-sit decisions for three key (more or less) players on their offense: quarterback Bo Nix and running backs Audric Estime and Javonte Williams.

Should I Start Bo Nix for Fantasy Football?

Yes. He's the QB10, has plenty of rushing upside, has great receivers, is on an offense headed by a great offensive mind in Sean Payton, and will face a defense that's been gashed by opposing offenses multiple times this season. This game has shootout written all over it, as Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been elite this season.

Why on earth would you bench him?

Should I Start Audric Estime for Fantasy Football?

No. This section and the one below could be distilled into one. The Broncos backfield has been an unmitigated disaster this season, with none of the three top RBs on the roster ever generating consistent fantasy football value over at least four weeks. Estime's rookie season has been forgettable.

He did score a touchdown in Week 16 but only had nine carries. You can't start an RB that gets such low volume. The rookie has seen more than 10 touches just one time all year.

Should I Start Javonte Williams for Fantasy Football?

Again, no. Williams carried the ball just four times for 24 yards in Week 16, despite RB Jaleel McLaughlin (quadricep) not playing. He was targeted 11 times and caught seven passes for just 29 yards. Whatever explosiveness he had before his devastating knee injury is simply gone.

His highlights this season are few and far between, and can mostly be attributed to the offensive line, anyway. He played just 52% of offensive snaps last week.

The most likely explanation for Denver's backfield this season is that head coach Sean Payton knows it's a massive liability and wants to draft a premier RB in the 2025 NFL Draft. Let's hope it's a good one like North Carolina Tar Heels running back Omarion Hampton.
