Quentin Johnston fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 6 (2024). Should you start or sit Quentin Johnston for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston had two nice games, but they were on the backs of touchdowns. He's in a low passing volume offense and doesn't get good target volume. Receivers on run-heavy teams are limited by this. He's also not the primary target for QB Justin Herbert.
Justin Herbert creating a touchdown for Quentin Johnston with his eye manipulation. Good stuff here from #10. (watch how his head barely moves at until the very end) pic.twitter.com/QOAPzQa7Tx

It's great when your fantasy receiver gets touchdowns, but when he gets just nine yards and zero touchdowns on five targets while another WR on the same team (in this case, Ladd McConkey) gets 67 yards and a touchdown in the same game, it's not great news. Johnston is not the WR1 for the Chargers.
Really impressed by what we've seen so far from Chargers WR Ladd McConkey. His route running + YAC ability is already translating at the NFL level--would love to see Roman use him to attack downfield from the slot more, as he absolutely has the juice for it. pic.twitter.com/PNpLjEk2Z4

McConkey is the guy in a room that barely has room for one. Johnston isn't fantasy-relevant unless he scores touchdowns, and those are hard to get consistently. He's not worth starting, but he is a fine bench stash in case of a McConkey injury.

Oronde Gadsden II, Jake Ferguson, Dalton Kincaid: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 9
While it isn't as flashy or deep as some of the other fantasy football positions, tight end is always a critical slot to fill in your lineup each week. The lack of depth at the position actually makes production even more important, and several strong options have emerged as the season has unfolded, bringing good […]
Tyrone Tracy Jr., Rico Dowdle, Bam Knight: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 9
There's a lot of luck involved in fantasy football. Things change over the course of a few weeks, and sometimes even more quickly, and if you're able to capitalize early on those situations, you can benefit greatly. At the running back position, the New York Giants, Carolina Panthers, and Arizona Cardinals had Cam Skattebo (ankle), […]
Keenan Allen, Marvin Harrison Jr., Xavier Worthy: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 9
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen, Arizona Cardinals wideout Marvin Harrison Jr., and Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy are likely in the starting lineups of most fantasy football least for Week 9. But each has been vulnerable to low-scoring games this season, and fantasy managers might be wondering if they're set to have […]
Jauan Jennings, Jordan Addison, Deebo Samuel Sr.: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 9
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ribs, ankle, shoulder), Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison, and Washington Commanders wideout Deebo Samuel Sr. are all right in the conversation for WR2 or WR3 status so far this season. They're not quite top-12 players at their positions, but they've shown enough upside to be trusted in starting […]
David Montgomery, J.K. Dobbins, Kenneth Walker III: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 9
Unfortunately, there are only a handful of elite, absolute-must-start running backs in fantasy football this season. De'Von Achane, James Cook, Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor, and a few others. There certainly aren't 14 of them, or even 12. This means in nearly every league there are teams that have RBs that they might struggle with making […]
