Top Fantasy Football Dynasty Players For Each Team: NFC West

Puka Nacua - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Ellis Johnson selects the most valuable dynasty fantasy football player on each NFC West team for the 2024 season. These are the star players you want to have.

The last division of this series is a great one. It's possible that all four of these teams could have top-10 offenses this season. From young fantasy stars like Puka Nacua and Marvin Harrison Jr. to fantasy legends like Christian McCaffrey and Cooper Kupp, this division has it all.

The Rams were one of the best offenses last year, and the Cardinals will be forced to play from behind if their defense doesn’t take a step forward. Plus, the Seahawks have a new offensive coordinator who isn’t afraid to air it out. All in all, this division could be fantasy gold for years to come. So, who are the best fantasy players on these teams?

It’s time to break down the top dynasty players in the NFC West. In this series, I am breaking down the teams by division and selecting who I believe is the most valuable dynasty fantasy player on each roster.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

San Francisco 49ers

Christian McCaffrey (RB, SF)

There are four players on this team that you could make a compelling argument for. Whether it’s the positional value of Brock Purdy, the dynamic ability of Deebo Samuel Sr., or the youth of Brandon Aiyuk, they are all great for fantasy. Personally, I think Aiyuk is the most tempting for this article; however, his recent unrest with his contract and where he will be playing next season lowers him.

McCaffrey may be 28 years old, but he is incredible. He is so valuable in fantasy that even though he is old for a running back, his next two or three years of production are worth more than a promising prospect.

Last season, he was the second-highest-scoring player in all of fantasy behind Josh Allen. That’s right, he scored more than Jalen Hurts, who is not only a QB, but he also had more rushing touchdowns than CMC. That’s why he still holds his dynasty value, even at the age of 28.

Los Angeles Rams

Puka Nacua (WR, LAR)

Last year was an incredible rookie season, where he nearly set all the rookie records at the position. Despite being a fifth-round draft pick, he surpassed the rookie seasons of star receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson. It was truly an incredible season.

This year, nothing has drastically changed on the Rams offense. The main changes from last season are the signing of blocking specialist Colby Parkinson, Cooper Kupp being fully healthy, and Demarcus Robinson locking down the third receiving role. That’s it.

Matthew Stafford is also back under center and has a laundry list of receivers breaking records. Whether it's with Calvin Johnson, Cooper Kupp, and now Puka Nacua, you want the WR tied to him. For this season, I think Kupp may eat into Nacua’s target share a little more than last year. However, Nacua is locked into a role with the opportunity to grow on his rookie season totals in the coming years.

Seattle Seahawks

DK Metcalf (WR, SEA)

I’ll be honest, as a whole, I have been disappointed in Metcalf's fantasy production. After starting his career as a potential fantasy superstar, he has three consecutive years of being outside the top-20 receivers.

Thankfully, Ryan Grubb is coming over from the University of Washington to be the offensive coordinator in Seattle. Although we haven’t seen it at the NFL level, Grubb ran a very pass-happy system in Washington. Interestingly, his system also relied on three top WRs. He now joins the Seahawks, who have Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba

The coordinator change gives me hope that Metcalf can return to an elite fantasy WR. However, I think the bigger question is how much will Smith-Njigba and Lockett dig into his target share?

Arizona Cardinals

Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR, ARI)

Technically, there is never a “can’t miss prospect,” though Harrison might be just that. I’m already confident enough to say he is my dynasty WR4 behind Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and CeeDee Lamb.

It’s not often you have a prospect like Harrison, who has been touted as elite for multiple years and has so far backed that up in training camp. In my opinion, when there is a paper trail of elite ability over a long period, there is a great chance he is everything we hope for and potentially more at the next level.

The Cardinals are in the middle of a retooling period. As a result, their defense is below average and will need to rely on their talented offense to keep them in games. With Kyler Murray under center, this offense could be electric. Plus, we have seen Murray support an elite alpha receiver in the past. I’m all in on Harrison becoming the next star dynasty WR and I’ll accept the loss if it doesn’t come to fruition.
