Euro 2024 DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy Soccer Picks (6/29/2024) - Today's Top Lineups

Soccer - Euro 2024, DFS Preview

Euro 2024 Soccer DFS lineup picks for DraftKings for 6/29/24 on Matchday 14. These are the top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers.

Happy Matchday 14, RotoBallers! This is the stage of Euro 2024 where the contenders separate themselves from the pretenders. The draw has shaken out in a strange way where World No. 2 (France) and No. 3 (Belgium) play each other in the Round of 16, and will likely face World No. 6 (Portugal) in the quarter-finals. This leaves easier paths to the Final for England, Italy, and the Netherlands on the other side of the bracket.

For the Round of 16, DFS managers will have two games per slate from Saturday, June 29, to Tuesday, July 2. Saturday's matchups are between Switzerland-Italy and Germany-Denmark. The host nation and the Italians are favored in their respective matches, but the Swiss will give their European neighbor quite a battle. In Euro 2020, Italy needed extra time to get past Austria, Switzerland upset France with penalties, Denmark walloped Wales 4-0, and Germany crashed out to England. All these teams are experienced, and we shouldn't expect any walkovers in Saturday's contests.

The DraftKings Euro 2024 DFS Soccer contests lock at noon EDT for the 6/29/24 slate. Make sure to get your lineups in early. Also, don't forget to check out the rest of our Euro 2024 coverage on RotoBaller with team and match previews, along with our betting and DFS advice. Euro 2024 Matchday 14

Vegas Odds for the Day

DraftKings DFS Goalkeepers

Kasper Schmeichel - $3.9K DraftKings; $8 FanDuel

Opponent - Germany

Let's chase some save points with Kasper Schmeichel. Denmark has the lowest chance (17.4 percent) of snatching a clean sheet among the four teams competing on Saturday's slate. Germany is a formidable opponent, and it does feel like one or two goals are bound to find the back of Schmeichel's net. However, the Danish shot-stopper can make up for that with his ability to rack up save points. He made three saves against England and five in total during the group stage. Combined with a relentless Germany attack, Schmeichel could shoot up the goalkeeper DFS charts on Saturday evening.

Others To Consider: Gianluigi Donnarumma ($4.9K DK; $11 FD)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Niclas Fullkrug - $8.6K DK; $16 FD

Opponent - Denmark

Reports from the German camp are laying the breadcrumbs for Niclas Fullkrug to start ahead of Kai Havertz in their Round of 16 game versus Denmark. The 31-year-old hasn't played more than 32 minutes in a match during Euro 2024 but has impressed every time he's hit the pitch. The Borussia Dortmund forward scored two goals on three shots and assisted his teammates with two more shots. It could've been even better for Fullkrug if a goal hadn't been disallowed versus Scotland in the opening game. Regardless, if the veteran forward gets the starting nod, he's probably the second biggest lock in our DFS squads after Christian Eriksen.

Others To Consider: Gianluca Scamacca ($9.2K DK; $14 FD), Dan Ndoye ($6.6K DK; $16 FD), Rasmus Hojlund ($5.6K DK; $13 FD)

DraftKings DFS Midfielders

Christian Eriksen - $9.0K DK; $19 FD

Opponent - Germany

Denmark enters Saturday's matches with the lowest odds of advancing, but that won't stop Christian Eriksen from racking up the DFS points. The Danish midfielder averaged 20.5 DraftKings PPG in the group stage and is the nailed-on set-piece taker for his country. Through three games, the Man United midfielder has a goal, 10 shots, 13 shots, no assists, and 26 crosses. Germany looked like a solid defensive side in the first two games versus Scotland and Hungary but took its foot off the gas in the final match against Switzerland. If that trend creeps into the game, DFS managers can expect Eriksen to exploit the German backline.

Others To Consider: Toni Kroos ($8.1K DK; $18 FD), Xherdan Shaqiri ($7.2K DK; $18 FD), Nicolo Barella ($5.1K DK; $15 FD)

DraftKings DFS Defenders

Maximilian Mittelstadt - $7.3K DK; $13 FD

Opponent - Denmark

It's hard to overlook Maximilian Mittelstadt because he's the most expensive defender on DraftKings. However, it must be reiterated that he is worth the price. In three games at Euro 2024, Mittelstadt has an assist, four chances created, and 20 crosses. The 27-year-old started every game for his country and averaged 16.05 DK PPG when he played at least 70 minutes. If you roster Mittelstadt, you'll have to go bargain-bin diving to make up the rest of your squad. But it feels like there's one more step for Mittelstadt to take, and that room for upside is too tempting to pass on during Saturday's match against Denmark.

Others To Consider: Alessandro Bastoni ($4.6K DK; $14 FD), Alexander Bah ($4.4K DK; $9 FD), Fabian Schar ($3.6K DK; $13 FD)

Set Pieces:

  • Switzerland: Xherdan Shaqiri, Ruben Vargas
  • Italy: Federico Dimarco, Lorenzo Pellegrini
  • Germany: Toni Kroos, Ilkay Gundogan
  • Denmark: Christian Eriksen
