CBB DFS: Main DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (1/27/24)

Hunter Dickinson - Kevin McCullar Jr. - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's Main DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 1/27/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have another massive Saturday of college basketball action. Most of the tilts are on the main and afternoon slates with the main slate featuring a dozen games from power conferences. We're going to start this off right!

The SEC starts us off with Georgia in Gainesville for their only offering. We have Nebraska in College Park for the Big Ten's contribution. This slate is Big 12-heavy with K-State in Houston, Iowa State hoping for some Hilton Magic against the Jayhawks, Texas Tech in Norman, West Virginia in Stillwater, and Texas out in Provo taking on BYU. The Big East has Georgetown in Providence and Seton Hall heading to Milwaukee to take on Marquette. The ACC starts with Virginia in Louisville and finishes this slate with North Carolina in Tallahassee and Pitt in Miami.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/27/24, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Devin Carter, Providence ($9,300)

Carter gets a bit of a break (if there is such a thing in the BEast aside from DePaul) against Georgetown, but the Hoyas have played well of late. Carter has at least 40 DraftKings points in six of the last eight games for the Friars. If Georgetown manages to hang around, Carter has a pretty high ceiling. The Friars have had several players step up and help Carter, but the team still goes as he goes. Carter's rebounds and assists have gone up without Bryce Hopkins in the lineup. Expect this to continue, which is why his price is where it is. He's a constant threat for 50 DraftKings points every night.

RJ Davis, North Carolina ($8,200)

There is something different about North Carolina this year even though most of the personnel is the same. If you hang around on X long enough, you'll see the fan base thinks the loss of Caleb Love was addition by subtraction. His devil-may-care approach to shooting took shots away from a pure scorer like Davis (and has resulted in fewer rebounds for Armando Bacot). We have seen Davis get more aggressive on offense and has shown the ability to take over a game. That's what he did against Wake this week. Davis has made at least four three-pointers in four of the last five games. Fade at your own risk. He's on a heater right now and is carrying the Tar Heels with him.

Johnny Furphy, Kansas ($6,500)

The sale price in Furphy has expired, but with the game he had against Cincinnati, it almost had to. Furphy racked up 42.75 DraftKings points, only missed one of eight shots from the floor (though he did miss three of nine tries at the line), and picked up 11 rebounds. He's still a guard, right? Furphy has injected some energy into the Kansas starting five, but I view the game against Cincinnati as an outlier. There's too much talent on this team for him to do that on a nightly basis. Still, Furphy has at least 27 DraftKings points in his three starts. He should still be around 30 DraftKings points once again, which is still good for the price.

Chendall Weaver, Texas ($3,600)

Texas found their spark in Weaver. His play off the bench against Baylor helped the Longhorns pull out a victory there. He was rewarded with 28 bench minutes against Oklahoma. Weaver rewarded Texas with 11 points, four rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block. This was with Texas finally having a fully healthy roster. Weaver is going to keep getting minutes as long as he keeps producing. For this price, it's worth seeing if he can keep it up.

Also consider: Tyler Kolek, Marquette ($8,800); Kevin McCullar Jr., Kansas ($8,300); Pop Isaacs, Texas Tech ($7,400); Al-Amir Dawes, Seton Hall ($7,100); Jaland Lowe, Pittsburgh ($6,200); Kerr Kriisa, West Virginia ($5,800); Elliot Cadeau, North Carolina ($5,200); John-Michael Wright, Oklahoma State ($5,000); Jamarques Lawrence, Nebraska ($4,700); Isaiah Coleman, Seton Hall ($4,300)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Oso Ighodaro, Marquette ($8,400)

Marquette is a very deep team, so their starters usually don't play a lot of minutes. The exception is Ighodaro. He has played at least 28 minutes in every game since the start of December and has been over 32 in all but two of those. Ighodaro has been especially productive in January, posting 197.75 DraftKings points in just five games. That's well above his season average of 30.4 DraftKings points. He posted 45.5 DraftKings points against Seton Hall to start off January. Expect another strong outing from him here.

Josh Oduro, Providence ($7,600)

The Friars lost Bryce Hopkins to an ACL tear in the St. John's game, so we'll be seeing more of Oduro going forward. Oduro has at least 35 DraftKings points in all three games since Hopkins went down. The price hasn't really caught up yet (in fact...it went down), which makes Oduro a very nice play in the midrange.

Noah Waterman, BYU ($5,800)

There are a few players at this exact price that are worth using tonight. I give Waterman the edge based on current performance. Unlike Jordan Minor, Waterman has played solid minutes all season long. Waterman is also a good three-point shooter, which helps pile up points in a hurry. He's going to have his hands full trying to get boards against this Texas front, but his sharpshooting could also draw Texas out of the middle and force them into bad matchups.

Josiah Harris, West Virginia ($4,300)

The Mountaineers moved Harris out of the starting five against a big Kansas team, but he responded to starting again by putting up 15 points and eight rebounds in just 20 minutes against Central Florida. That was by far his best game of the season. Hopefully, that affords him more run today against the Cowboys.

Also consider: Julian Reese, Maryland ($8,400); Dylan Disu, Texas ($7,400); Harrison Ingram, North Carolina ($7,100); Milan Momcilovic, Iowa State ($6,400); Russel Tchewa, Georgia ($5,800); Hason Ward, Iowa State ($5,000); Joseph Tugler, Houston ($4,100)
