Todd McGill's Round 4 PGA DFS showdown slate picks for the 2025 Tour Championship. His top in-tournament DFS lineup picks and top plays for DraftKings and FanDuel.
There is one more round of golf to play in the official 2025 season tomorrow at East Lake. The revamped Tour Championship has faced its usual amount of scrutiny, as the conundrum that presents itself if anyone besides Scheffler wins has been a main topic. Tommy Fleetwood has another chance to quiet the haters after weeks of near misses, tied with Patrick Cantlay at -16 under par.
Given the way East Lake was at the player's mercy through the first two days, the statistics that lead the way are in the iron play and putting departments, with length and acceptable accuracy off the tee being an additional plus. With everything coming down to tomorrow and the absence of unnecessary math or the underlying stench of a staggared start, it should be a shootout worthy of a Tour Championship.
Showdown, unlike typical golf DFS that spans the entire tournament, is a contest that focuses on each round as an individual event. Finding players performing well on approach is a good general rule. However, roster decisions that give you ownership leverage by taking riskier players who haven't played their best but present a high likelihood of a bounce-back round are also important. In other words, this is a sprint, not a marathon.

Weather, Course Conditions, and Tee Times
East Lake showed some teeth on Saturday with a little help from Mother Nature after being blistered by nearly everyone over the first two rounds. Tomorrow is another typical day in the Southeast, where high humidity has the potential to bring in afternoon storms. With such a small field, players are bunched too tightly to have any real advantage.
Round 4 Strategy
The mindset for final-round showdowns is to leave no punches pulled. A great starting point is to take guys who have a knack for hammering down the gas pedal on Sunday and have at least shown flashes of form over the first three rounds.
Remember that ownership levels will continuously drop the closer you get to the morning's first tee time, so finding the guys who will bounce back is paramount to winning big.

Favorite Play: I'd be lying if I said I wasn't rooting for Tommy Fleetwood tomorrow, for both the quirky and gratifying reasons. It's difficult to argue that he isn't due, and the irony involved only further increases my interest. He's played virtually mistake-free golf aside from a rare bogey and the double he had on hole 15 in Saturday's round, which he followed up with two birdies.
Other than Scottie Scheffler, who else has been playing as consistently over the last several weeks as Fleetwood? There are few, if any.
Other Options: Expect better things from Rory McIlroy tomorrow.

Favorite Play: Justin Thomas got off to a hot start on Thursday, posting a -6 under, 64 that included a double bogey on the 15th hole. His play hasn't been as smooth since, although it showed more life on Saturday than on Friday, as he ranked second on the day in greens in regulation (72.2%). If that continues tomorrow, along with the putter that's been an ally all week, J.T. could make a decent move up the leaderboard.
Justin Thomas said he FaceTimed Tiger Woods in 2020 to remind Tiger that he didn't qualify for the Tour Championship.

Favorite Play: Patrick Cantlay is causing me to do something I have tried to avoid all season, which is take both co-leaders heading into the final day. However, given the magnitude of tomorrow and Ryder Cup hopes looming, there's no one better suited to deliver under that pressure than Patty Ice.
He's having an incredible week, as he leads the field in strokes gained tee to green (+2.18) and strokes gained on approach (+2.06). The iron play is especially worth noting since he nearly doubles the strokes gained to his nearest competitor in that metric.
Other Options: Viktor Hovland
$7,000+
Favorite Play: Harris English finds himself right in the middle of the pack heading into the final round. The former Georgia Bulldog ranks eighth in strokes gained putting (+0.44) and off the tee (+0.32), while leading the field in greens in regulation (81.5%). He's managed to stay close enough to several players, making a top-five finish a possibility with something low tomorrow.

Favorite Play: In typical Nick Taylor fashion, he finds himself hanging around the leaders in an event where you may not have even realized he was in. Nonetheless, after leading the field in driving accuracy over the last two days, along with scrambling his butt off and doing enough with the ball striking to give himself opportunities, the Canadian has a chance to end his season on a high note.
Other Options: Corey Conners
