The Kiwoom Heroes of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced on Tuesday that they will post All-Star second baseman Hye-seong Kim for major-league clubs after the 2024 season, which will be his seventh in Korea. The soon-to-be 25-year-old infielder was named the top high-school hitter in South Korea in 2016 and was drafted by the Heroes in the second round that same year. He made only 16 appearances in his first year with the team in 2017 but became their primary second baseman in 2017. Since his debut in the KBO, Kim has become a premier defender at the keystone with improving bat-to-ball skills from the left side of the plate. Kim carries a career .300 batting average but has only 26 home runs in 826 games. He has been in the top 10 in steals in each of the last four seasons, including a career-best 46 thefts in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
