Week 17 PPR FLEX Rankings for Fantasy Football: Ty Chandler, Chuba Hubbard, Calvin Ridley, Zay Flowers, James Conner, Trey McBride

Calvin Ridley - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Updated Week 17 fantasy football FLEX PPR rankings (RB, WR, TE). Set your winning lineups with our Week 17 NFL ranks for fantasy football.

Fantasy football championships are on the line as Week 17 officially arrives. Congratulations to all the Fantasy managers who have it this far. At RotoBaller, we will help you with tough start/sit decisions and guide you to a fantasy title with our Week 17 fantasy football FLEX rankings.

Minnesota Vikings running back Ty Chandler rushed for 17 yards on eight attempts and a touchdown in the Week 16 loss to the Detroit Lions. The touchdown salvaged his fantasy day. The 25-year-old remains Minnesota's lead back despite Alexander Mattison's return. Chandler is an intriguing fantasy option and should be in lineups as a FLEX play against a Packers defense that ranks 25th in rush DVOA. Below, you will see where Chandler and other key FLEX options, such as Zamir WhiteEzekiel ElliottChuba HubbardJames ConnerChris GodwinCalvin Ridley, and Zay Flowers, rank this week.

Our PPR fantasy football rankings for Week 17 are put together by Nick MarianoScott EngelAndersen Pickard, and Brandon Murchinson. In addition to our staff rankings, below you will find a summary of this week's important fantasy football injury news. There are always critical injuries to track, so check back until kickoff.

Editor's Note: Access RotoBaller’s trusted fantasy football rankings for PPR, Standard, Dynasty, Super Flex, and Best Ball formats. Get tiered cheat sheets, expert analysis, and player outlooks to dominate your draft from every angle.

Week 17 Fantasy Football FLEX Outlooks and Rankings Analysis

A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks for key options in Week 17, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether to start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.

Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncos
Week 17 FLEX PPR Rank: 62

Although Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams had his second rushing touchdown of the year in the Christmas Eve loss to the New England Patriots, he was pretty poor otherwise with 11 carries for only 24 yards while catching three passes for minus-five yards. He's scored in two of his last three games but has only 51 rushing yards on 23 carries (2.22 yards per attempt) in the last two contests.

The 23-year-old could be leaned on more in a great matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday now that quarterback Jarrett Stidham is running Denver's offense, but fantasy managers may not be able to get past how bad Williams has been of late. The Broncos offense could very well take a step back with both Russell Wilson and top wideout Courtland Sutton (concussion) on the bench. Consider Williams a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex in Week 17 in a plus matchup.

James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals
Week 17 FLEX PPR Rank: 54

Heading into Week 17, Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner is enjoying a bit of a resurgence, showcasing his versatility with 16.8 touches and 79 total yards per game since his return. His involvement in the passing game has been on the rise, logging at least three targets in three of his last four outings. This season has arguably been Conner's best on a per-touch basis, ranking impressively in explosive run rate, missed tackles forced, and yards after contact. Week 17 presents a promising matchup against a faltering Philadelphia run defense, allowing the sixth-most rushing yards since Week 11.

Despite a slightly subdued performance in Week 16, Conner's multi-faceted contributions make him a solid fantasy option, with optimistic expectations for a standout performance against Philadelphia. He should be viewed as an RB2 with RB1 upside for Week 17.

Calvin Ridley, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 17 FLEX PPR Rank: 41

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley heads into a tough Week 17 matchup against the Carolina Panthers this Sunday. The 28-year-old continued his boom-bust trend last week, following up two duds with a monster 90-yard, two-touchdown performance that all came in one half. This coming week brings a different challenge, as Ridley will now be catching passes from backup quarterback C.J. Beathard, although it's worth noting that he did haul in a touchdown from the veteran last week.

Even so, with Zay Jones likely back in the lineup and an unforgiving matchup - Carolina is fifth against opposing wideouts on the season - Ridley projects to be no more than a risky WR2/flex for fantasy championships.

Zay Flowers, WR, Baltimore Ravens
Week 17 FLEX PPR Rank: 56

Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers (calf) was limited in practice on Friday and is listed as questionable to suit up on Sunday to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 17 action. The good news is that the first-rounder was able to practice at all on Friday after skipping practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. In the event that Flowers doesn't play on Sunday, receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor, and tight end Isaiah Likely would be in line for more targets in the passing attack.

The 23-year-old Flowers has been Baltimore's leading receiver this year with tight end Mark Andrews (ankle) going down with a season-ending injury, so his absence would be bad news for quarterback Lamar Jackson in this high-profile matchup. Flowers should be considered on the WR2/3 borderline if he plays. Check back on Flowers' status on Sunday morning 90 minutes before kickoff.

Adam Thielen, WR, Carolina Panthers
Week 17 FLEX PPR Rank: 60

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen hauled in six of eight targets for 94 yards in a Week 16 loss to the Green Bay Packers. He will look to keep it going against the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road in Week 17. The Jaguars have been generous to opposing receivers in 2023, as they are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position. Thielen hasn't been as consistent as he was earlier in the season, but the matchup sets up favorably for him this weekend. Treat him as a high-end WR3 in the fantasy championship round.
