2023 NFL QB Power Rankings: All 32 Starting Quarterbacks After Week 13

Dak Prescott - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Joe Nicely ranks all 32 NFL starting quarterbacks. Who are the top quarterbacks in the NFL? Which NFL teams have elite quarterbacks? Which teams will continue to struggle at the position?

Let's be honest...we've seen some downright ugly quarterback play in 2023. Unfortunately, there was more of the same in Week 13.

On the flip side, some NFL QBs have been phenomenal this year, elevating their games -- and their teams -- to different levels.

While we certainly have some ugly matchups on tap in Week 14, we also have a couple of meetings that have the potential to be instant classics, with Dak Prescott squaring off against Jalen Hurts in a divisional rivalry, as well as the matchup of Patrick Mahomes vs. Josh Allen almost guaranteed to be an electric display. Let's dig into our Week 14 NFL QB Power Rankings for all 32 starting quarterbacks.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

1. Dak Prescott - Dallas Cowboys

Ok...so these aren't the "who is the best QB in the NFL" Power Rankings. This a fluid, week-to-week list of quarterback rankings, and perhaps no one is playing the game at a higher level than Dak Prescott right now. While we all know that Prescott and the 'Boys like to crumble when the postseason rolls around, it's tough to argue with the tear he's been on recently.

Dallas has won six of their last seven and four straight largely due to their elite passing attack. Prescott has amassed 1,223 passing yards and 14 total TDs with just one INT across the Cowboys' current win streak. A huge divisional clash with the Philadelphia Eagles looms in Week 14, but Prescott threw for 374 yards and three TDs in the season's first meeting with the Eagles.

2. Brock Purdy - San Francisco 49ers

Call him a "system quarterback" if you want, but Purdy and the Niners are humming offensively at the moment. Fresh off a 42-19 destruction of the Philadelphia Eagles on the road, the former Mr. Irrelevant heads into a Week 14 meeting with the Seahawks having totaled 1,152 passing yards, 11 TDs, and a single pick since San Francisco's Week 9 bye.

Injury issues derailed him earlier in the season, but with those struggles behind him, Purdy is currently operating as the most efficient QB in the league and leads the NFL in both completion rate (70.2%) and yards per attempt (9.6).

3. Lamar Jackson - Baltimore Ravens

Jackson and the Ravens continue to quietly cruise through the competition every week. Before last week's bye, Baltimore had won six of their last seven with the former MVP at the helm. New offensive coordinator Todd Monken's system has been a seamless fit for Jackson, who leads all NFL quarterbacks with 574 rushing yards and has completed passes at a 68.3% clip this season.

4. Jalen Hurts - Philadelphia Eagles

We had to ding Hurts in this week's Power Rankings after a 42-19 home loss to the Niners in Week 13. The loss was hardly his fault, however, as he put forth a solid 298 passing yards and a pair of TDs against San Fran. He was evaluated for a concussion but was able to return last week and should be ready to roll for a huge divisional clash with the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14.

5. C.J. Stroud - Houston Texans

The dazzling rookie continued to impress in a hard-fought Week 13 win over the Denver Broncos. Stroud's stats weren't gaudy, though he turned in an efficient 274 passing yards and a TD on 27 pass attempts. Playing at a borderline MVP level, this year's No. 2 overall draft pick has now led the Texans to wins in four of their last five and draws a struggling Jets squad in Week 14.

6. Tua Tagovailoa - Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa and the high-powered Dolphins offense were on cruise control for much of Week 13. A couple of deep TD connections between Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill helped the 'Fins jump out to a big lead over the Commanders early, and Miami never looked back. Tua boasts a deadly accurate 70.1% completion rate this season and his 3,457 passing yards are currently the third-most in the NFL.

7. Patrick Mahomes - Kansas City Chiefs

This is likely as far down as you'll ever see Patrick Mahomes in any sort of rankings. And while most would agree that the Chiefs superstar is the "best" QB in football, Mahomes and company have been scuffling a bit lately. Kansas City suffered a shocking loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 13 with Mahomes passing for just 210 yards. He's now failed to top 300 passing yards in five straight games.

We can largely place the lull on the fact that Mahomes has a largely inexperienced -- and untalented -- receiving corps to work with this season. He'll need to elevate the group if the Chiefs are to make a run at another Super Bowl. Their Week 14 matchup against the Buffalo Bills carries shootout potential.

8. Josh Allen - Buffalo Bills

Mahomes' Week 14 opponent, Josh Allen, is dealing with his own struggles in 2023, as the Bills head into the showdown against the rival Chiefs with a record of just 6-6. Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey was fired after a shocking Week 10 home loss to Denver and Allen has responded since his departure by totaling seven TDs and 614 passing yards over Buffalo's last two games. Despite the mediocre record, Allen appears to be trending up.

9. Justin Herbert - Los Angeles Chargers

Herbert continues to be one of the NFL's greatest enigmas...a QB that's universally accepted as being great, but who remains stuck in a bizarro cycle of wins and losses under head coach Brandon Staley's leadership.

The offseason addition of Kellen Moore was supposed to be an upgrade for Herbert and the Chargers passing attack, but the absence of Mike Williams and Joshua Palmer, as well as the ineffectiveness of first-round rookie Quentin Johnston, have taken a toll on Herbert's ability to succeed.

10. Jordan Love - Green Bay Packers

After taking some lumps in his first year as the starter in Green Bay, Love has started to look very Rodgers-like in recent weeks. He's been nothing short of spectacular during the Packers' current three-game winning streak, totaling 857 passing yards, eight TDs, and no interceptions during that span. He'll have a strong chance to stay hot against the New York Giants in Week 14.

11. Jared Goff - Detroit Lions

A Week 12 loss to the Packers was a nasty bit of business, but Goff and the Lions got back on track with a win over the Saints last week. The former Ram continued his rock-solid play in a game that he wasn't asked to do a lot through the air. Goff's 3,288 passing yards are the fourth-most in the NFL this season and he sports a nifty 20:8 TD-to-INT ratio this year.

12. Kyler Murray - Arizona Cardinals

Murray has outperformed expectations since returning to the Arizona lineup off an ACL injury that ended his 2022 season prematurely. The diminutive signal-caller helped the team to a surprising road win at Pittsburgh last week. He heads into the Cardinals' bye having tallied three passing TDs and three rushing TDs in his four 2023 starts.

13. Russell Wilson - Denver Broncos

While he's not quite been playing at the level he attained during his Seattle days, Wilson has unquestionably improved from his horrid 2022 form this season. Finally looking comfortable in Sean Payton's offensive system, Wilson and the Broncos rebounded from a terrible start to the campaign to win five straight before falling to the Texans last week. Russ could get cooking again in Week 14 against a spotty Chargers defense.

14. Matthew Stafford - Los Angeles Rams

Stafford has played better than his statistics show in 2023. The Rams have quietly won three straight with the veteran boasting an 8:2 TD to INT ratio across those outings. Stafford will have his work cut out for him in Week 14, however, as he draws a brutal matchup against the rugged Baltimore Ravens.

15. Sam Howell - Washington Commanders

Howell and the spiraling Commanders head into their Week 14 bye the losers of four straight. Despite the team's struggles, Howell has looked promising in his second pro season. He currently stands second in the NFL in passing yards (3,466) and seventh in passing TDs (18).

16. Geno Smith - Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle signal-caller has been up and down in 2023 but posted his best game of the season in Week 13. Smith exploded for 334 yards and four total TDs against the Cowboys last Thursday night in a game the Seahawks lost. It will be tough for him to keep that positive momentum going in Week 14, as he faces an elite Niners defense.

17. Baker Mayfield - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mayfield has been far from the car crash that everyone expected him to be in Tampa Bay this season. The former No. 1 overall pick has settled in nicely as the Bucs starter, passing for 2,790 yards with 18 TDs to eight INTs, while forming a nice rapport with legendary Bucs receiver Mike Evans. While Tampa sits at just 5-7 on the year, they remain very much alive in the ugly NFC South, with a crucial Week 14 matchup against the Falcons looming.

18. Justin Fields - Chicago Bears

The Bears scored just their second win of the season with Fields under center in Week 12. The much-maligned Fields will try to make it two in a row against the Detroit Lions in Week 14, as the Bears come off their bye. The Ohio State alum appeared to be trending in the right direction before being sidelined for four games earlier in the season. He'll likely be auditioning for his job for the remainder of 2023.

19. Gardner Minshew II - Indianapolis Colts

Minshew had perhaps his best game of the season in Week 13, leading the Colts to a victory against divisional foe Tennessee in an overtime thriller. He passed for 312 yards and two TDs against the Titans. Things aren't always going to look pretty with Minshew at the helm, but he's shown the ability to lead an NFL offense. Indy has now won four straight with the fan favorite at the helm and will tackle the Bengals in Week 14.

20. Joshua Dobbs - Minnesota Vikings

The "Passtronaut" has progressively gotten worse in each of his starts for the Vikings with his last outing -- a Week 12 loss to the Bears in which he threw four INTs -- being by far his worst. Since energizing Minnesota and leading them to wins in Weeks 9 & 10, Dobbs has now lost his last two starts at the helm. He'll again be under center in Week 14 as the Vikings come off their bye week, but the leash could be getting short on Dobbs.

21. Jake Browning - Cincinnati Bengals

These Power Rankings are fluid from week to week, which is why Browning rockets up the board for Week 14. Taking over for the injured Joe Burrow, the Washington product was phenomenal in his second career start. Browning completed 32 of 37 passes for 354 yards and a score, while also running for a TD to lead the Bengals to an overtime win over the Jaguars on Monday Night Football. He draws a plus matchup against the Colts in Week 14.

22. Will Levis - Tennessee Titans

Since his dazzling Week 8 debut, Levis has been rather ho-hum as the Titans' regular starter. In an offense that wants to lean on Derrick Henry in the run, the rookie hasn't been asked to do a lot other than keep turnovers to a minimum. While he's flashed a cannon arm and displayed the ability to make impressive throws, this Tennessee offense simply isn't very good right now, which has limited Levis' ceiling.

23. Jameis Winston - New Orleans Saints

With Derek Carr now in the NFL's concussion protocol, we could be in for "The Jameis Experience" in Week 14. Winston is known for his sometimes-baffling decision-making and willingness to gamble downfield. Taking that into account, Winston has previously shown the ability to be a quasi-effective starter during his time in Tampa Bay and he'll draw a plus matchup against the abysmal Carolina Panthers if does indeed get the start for Carr this week.

24. Tommy Devito - New York Giants

The noted paisan has now led his hometown G-Men to two straight victories. DeVito has tossed four TDs to no INTs across those outings. However, it should be noted that the Giants' offense managed just 10 points with him at the helm their last time on the field in Week 12.

25. Bryce Young - Carolina Panthers

The term bust is being tossed around with Young, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. While that's not completely unfair, the rookie is playing behind a horrible offensive line with Adam Thielen as his top receiving threat.

26. Joe Flacco - Cleveland Browns

There's no denying that the 38-year-old Flacco still has a lively arm, as he made some beautiful throws en route to 254 passing yards and a pair of TDs in his first game under center for the Browns in Week 13. The problem? Cleveland was trashed by the Rams, losing by 17 points. That's not all on Flacco, though, and he could prove to be a serviceable starter for Kevin Stefanski's squad.

27. Aidan O'Connell - Las Vegas Raiders

We've seen some flashes from the rookie across his five starts for a Raiders franchise that's undergone a midseason coaching change. Thrown into a tough situation, AOC has passed for 1,194 yards with four TDs and six INTs.

28. Desmond Ridder - Atlanta Falcons

Since reclaiming the starting job in Atlanta from Taylor Heinicke, Ridder has been...fine. Simply put, he's going to be used as a game manager for the run-heavy Falcons offense in all but the most of extreme situations.

29. Mitch Trubisky - Pittsburgh Steelers

The former Chicago bust has settled in as the Steelers backup QB over the last couple of years and Trubisky will likely be forced into a starting role in Week 14 due to an injury to Kenny Pickett. Trubisky entered Week 13 in Pickett's absence against the Arizona Cardinals and put together a very palatable stat line by going 11/17 for 117 yards and a TD.

That said, the Steelers only managed 10 points in the embarrassing home loss to Arizona and Trubisky has failed to show much when given opportunities in Pittsburgh.

30. Bailey Zappe/Mac Jones - New England

It doesn't really matter who is under center for the Patriots at the moment, New England simply can't get anything going offensively. Bill Belichick's squad has mustered just 13 total points across their last three games with the combination of Bailey Zappe and Mac Jones amassing an abysmal 418 passing yards between them over those outings.

31. C.J. Beathard - Jacksonville Jaguars

With Trevor Lawrence appearing to suffer an ankle sprain on Monday Night Football, the Jags might be forced to turn to career backup C.J. Beathard. The 2017 third-round pick is a combined 2-10 across his 12 career starts -- all of which came with the San Francisco 49ers.

32. Tim Boyle/Trevor Siemian/Zach Wilson - New York Jets

It's nothing we didn't already know, but Gang Green is a dumpster fire at the QB position. After two Tim Boyle starts and a Trevor Siemian relief appearance in Week 13, we can finally understand why the Jets stuck with Zach Wilson for so long. They are reportedly considering turning back to their much-maligned bust...but Wilson might not want any part of this mess.
