Joshua Palmer - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Should I pickup Joshua Palmer for fantasy football Week 8? Is Joshua Palmer a good fantasy pick off the waiver wire? Read the fantasy football waivers outlook.

The Los Angeles Chargers entered this season with many expecting them to become serious contenders out of the AFC. It is safe to say at this current moment, nobody still holds those same expectations about this team.

So far, the Chargers' season can be defined by injuries and failure to win the fourth quarter. Despite this, Joshua Palmer has been able to fill the shoes of Mike Williams, who is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Should Palmer be at the top of the waiver wire this week? Let's examine the situation a little further.

What Did Joshua Palmer Do In Week 7?

Against the Kansas City Chiefs, Joshua Palmer seemed to solidify himself as the WR2 for the Chargers. In the 17-31 loss, he caught 5 passes for 133 yards and finished as the WR10 in PPR formats.

Palmer was on the field for 98% with a 100% route participation and saw 7 targets, which was second on the team. He also averaged 26.6 yards per catch, and the big plays that he made kept his team in the game until the middle of the fourth quarter.

Is Joshua Palmer A Good Fantasy Football Pickup For Week 8?

For the past few seasons, the WR1 and WR2 positions for the Los Angeles Chargers have been able to produce great numbers for fantasy football. He's not on the same level as Mike Williams, but Joshua Palmer is showing that he can capitalize on an increased target share.

As of right now, Palmer is a great waiver wire option that can become a WR3 or flex option for PPR formats. His stock can continue to rise if he is able to find the endzone more often. If he is available, he is worth picking up.
