Three games on Friday night's WNBA slate, including a battle that could matter a lot when it comes to playoff seeding as the Mystics visit the Wings. The other contests feature the Lynx and Liberty facing in New York, and the Storm and Sky in Chicago. All three games start at 6:00 p.m. ET.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. WNBA DFS Picks: Forward
Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty) - vs. MIN - DK: $11,700, FD: $9,200
Stewart was on fire last night against the Dream, going 8-for-17 from the floor with 33 points while grabbing 12 rebounds. It was her second 20-plus point double-double in the last four games. Stewart also added five assists and a block in the contest.
The former WNBA MVP has now scored at least 20 points in four of the last five games. She gets a ton of shot attempts every night, and that gives her one of the highest nightly ceilings in the W. On Friday, she faces a Lynx team that she's yet to face this season, but that should be a little weakened defensively with Napheesa Collier out.
Jessica Shepard (Minnesota Lynx) - @ NY - DK: $7,800, FD: $5,900
After missing a long time with a non-COVID illness, Shepard finally returned to the floor last time out against the Mystics. She played just 13 minutes, but was effective in that time, scoring eight points on 3-f0r-3 shooting while grabbing three rebounds.
With Collier out for this one, the Lynx will likely have to ramp Shepard's minutes up by a pretty big margin for Friday night's contest against the Liberty. She's averaged 9.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game this season.
Myisha Hines-Allen (Washington Mystics) - @ DAL - DK: $6,400, FD: $5,200
A few years back, Hines-Allen looked like she was on the precipe of a breakout. In the 2020 COVID year with a lot of Mystics players not playing, MHA averaged 17.0 points per game along with 8.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per night.
But her numbers have taken a pretty big dip since then, and this season she's averaging just 5.4 points per game, and her effective field goal percentage is just 37.4%. In that 2020 season, she was at 55.4%.
The Mystics are dealing with a lot of injuries right now though, and that's giving MHA some opportunities to shine again. Most nights, she hasn't really gotten much done, but last game she saw a season-high 23 minutes of action, scoring 12 points on 6-for-14 shooting to go along with seven rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal. It was the seventh game in a row that Hines-Allen has recorded at least one steal.
WNBA DFS Picks: Guard
Kahleah Copper (Chicago Sky) - vs. SEA - DK: $9,200, FD: $7,000
Copper has caught fire over the past two games, scoring 29 points on 8-for-17 shooting against the Storm, followed by an even bigger showing against the Aces, as Copper was 12-for-18 from the floor for 37 points to go along with six rebounds and two assists.
On Friday, she gets to face the Storm defense again, that of the aforementioned 29-point outing back on July 22. Copper should be in line for another strong showing based on the matchup and the fact that she's scored 20 or more points in four of the past five games, and she still managed 17 points in the one game where she didn't get to 20.
Kayla McBride (Minnesota Lynx) - @ NY - DK: $7,400, FD: $5,900
McBride's numbers have been really hit-0r-miss. She's scored at least 10 points in four of the last five games, but in the one game where she didn't, she was held scoreless, going 0-for-7 against the Sparks.
But McBride is coming off a strong showing last time out, with 15 points on 4-for-8 shooting against the Mystics. She also added three rebounds, two assists, and three steals, marking her fourth game in a row with multiple steals. The Liberty's big weakness is perimeter defense, so McBride should find some space to score on Friday night.
Betnijah Laney (New York Liberty) -vs. MIN - DK: $7,000, FD: $6,300
Laney had 14 points on 6-for-13 shooting last night against Atlanta, going 2-for-6 from three and adding one rebound, two assists, and one steal. It was the sixth game in a row that Laney has scored in double figures, and the third game in a row she scored 14 or more points while making multiple threes and recording at least one steal.
While there are a lot of mouths to feed in Barclays Center, Laney's established a pretty solid role now, thriving despite being the fourth or fifth option. She's a really good value on this slate.
