Vegas Odds for the Day

NHL DFS Goalies

Filip Gustavsson- DK $8.3K | FD $8.3K

Opponent - San Jose Sharks

In his most recent start on Tuesday against Calgary, Gustavsson delivered an incredible performance by not conceding a goal and stopping 26 Flames shots. The Swedish goaltender has now maintained an active shutout streak of 170 minutes and 45 seconds, which stands as the third-longest in franchise history. Gustavsson has an exceptional record of 17-8-4, an outstanding save percentage of .935, and an unbelievable goals-against-average of 1.91. Minnesota is on the road against San Jose, who have lost eight of ten games. The Sharks rank 16th in the league in Goals For Per 60 at 2.55 and 24th in Shots For Per 60 at 29.77

Others To Consider: Linus Ullmark (DK $8.5K | FD $8.8K), Andrei Vasilevskiy (DK $8.5K | FD $8.7K)

NHL DFS Centers

Brayden Point -DK $7.4K | FD $9.0K

Opponent - Chicago Blackhawks

On Saturday, Brayden Point will have a chance to showcase his skills against the Chicago Blackhawks, who are fresh off a 4-3 defeat to Florida on Friday. The Lightning's center notched two goals and an assist against Vegas on Thursday. Centering Tampa Bay's first line Point has demonstrated his talent by scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in the last ten games. Against Chicago on January 3rd, Point logged an assist. The Blackhawks have a track record of allowing an average of 33.98 Shots Against Per 60.

Connor McDavid -DK $9.9K | FD $10.6K

Opponent - Toronto Maple Leafs

As Edmonton prepares to face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the 26-year-old prodigy Connor McDavid remains a standout choice at the center position. While he was unable to score in the previous game, McDavid has only experienced a point drought of two games in a row once this season. In the last ten games, he has contributed an impressive 12 goals, 11 assists, and an astounding 49 shots on goal. Toronto has allowed a total of 13 goals against in the past four games.

Others To Consider: Nathan MacKinnon (DK $9.8K | FD $10.3K), Tim Stutzle (DK $7.1K| FD $8.4K)

NHL DFS Wings

Nikita Kucherov -DK $7.7K | FD $9.6K

Opponent - Chicago Blackhawks

In the last two games, Nikita Kucherov has been in top form, gathering three goals and three assists. He's obtained points in 11 of the previous 12 games, leading the Lightning's potent offense with 94 points. Kucherov will have a prime opportunity to exploit a weak Blackhawks team, who will be playing for the second consecutive night.

Mikko Rantanen -DK $7.6K| FD 9.4K

Opponent - Arizona Coyotes

As Colorado gears up to take on Arizona on Saturday, Mikko Rantanen emerges as an attractive choice for those seeking a winger option. He offers a more affordable alternative for FanDuel players compared to other leading wingers such as Jason Robertson and David Pastrnak. In addition, Rantanen is sure to shoot at every opportunity, having amassed a staggering 230 shots and securing eight game-winning goals. Arizona, on the other hand, ranks second to last in the league for Shots Against Per 60 at 35.72.

Others To Consider: Alex Ovechkin (DK $8.0K | FD $8.4K), David Pastrnak (DK $9.0K| FD $10.4K)

NHL DFS Defensemen

Josh Morrissey- DK $7.0 | FD $7.3K

Opponent - Florida Panthers

Amidst the flurry of games on Saturday, Josh Morrissey goes unnoticed. Although Winnipeg has been struggling lately, the defenseman has been performing well, tallying four goals and four assists in the last five games. The defenseman likes to rip shots from the point, and given that Florida tends to give up a high number of shots on goal, averaging 32.03 Shots Against Per 60, Morrissey could have a favorable opportunity.

Cale Makar- DK 7.0K | FD $7.6K

Opponent - Arizona Coyotes

Consider adding Cale Makar from the Colorado Avalanche to your Saturday lineup as a defenseman. Despite enduring two concussions and an upper-body injury in a brief period, Makar impressively managed to accumulate one goal and five assists in three games. He has an excellent chance to add to his point total against the Coyotes, as he previously notched one goal and an assist in an earlier encounter this season.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Jakob Chychrun (DK $6.5K | FD $7.1K), Roman Josi (DK $8.8K | FD $8.3K)

Stacks of the Day

  • EDM PP1: Hyman-McDavid-Draisaitl
  • BOS PP1: Bergeron-Marchand-Pastrnak
  • TBL L1: Stamkos-Point-Kucherov

That's all for today, good luck with your lineups, and thank you for choosing RotoBaller for your NHL DFS needs!
